With all the media coverage about Eric Adams and Tom Homan working together to clean up the scourge of illegals in New York City, you’d think stories like this would be less common. Yet, another couple of illegal gang thugs have been let go with just a slap on the wrist after being caught in a drug raid in Queens.

The two Tren de Aragua members waltzed across our border illegally in 2023—courtesy of the Biden administration, of course. While Joe Biden’s brain was still buffering on dial-up, his puppet administration flung the doors open, rolling out the welcome mat for all the filth to pour in.

Jose Tamaronis-Caldera, 27, and Richard Garcia, 33, both tied to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, were busted on felony drug and gun charges in a Feb. 5 raid at V&R Auto and Collision in Woodside, along with 54-year-old shop owner Rafael Nieves, according to sources and court records.

But once the case got to court, Queens prosecutors reduced the charges, hitting the migrants with a misdemeanor count of possession of an air gun — which let them walk without bail. – New York Post

Adams, Homan, and Hochul: The Battle for New York’s Soul

New York City is drowning in illegals, and Mayor Eric Adams is finally waking up to the mess. After months of pretending it wasn’t happening, Adams decides to play the tough guy and teams up with United States Border Czar Tom Homan to crack down on the migrant flood.

But, of course, not everyone’s happy with Adams’ newfound spine. Enter Governor Kathy Hochul, who still thinks New York should remain an open-door sanctuary for anyone with a pulse. As Adams tries to clean up the mess, Hochul works behind the scenes to pull the rug out from under him.

She (Hochul) appeared to be weighing all of those risks on Tuesday as she holed up on the 39th floor of a state office building in Manhattan to confer with citywide elected officials, prominent Black leaders and congressional lawmakers.

Ms. Hochul has made it clear that she has been alarmed by accusations that Mr. Adams entered into a corrupt deal with the Justice Department in exchange for it dropping federal charges against him. Yet she has stressed that her top priority is protecting the interests of New Yorkers. – New York Times

Kathy Hochul might want to save her outrage for the real problem: the army of leftist progressive judges and lawyers in her state who treat criminals like VIPs.

Take Assistant Manhattan DA Dafna Yoran, the prosecutor in the Daniel Penny case. She once bragged about getting a mugger off a murder charge after he killed an 87-year-old.

While New Yorkers deal with rising crime, these so-called legal experts seem more interested in making sure thugs walk free than protecting law-abiding citizens. Maybe that’s what should really alarm Ms Hochul.

So, while Kathy Hochul schemes to oust Eric Adams, she’s effectively siding with illegals and gangs. Guess she missed the memo from the State Department officially labeling Tren de Aragua a global terrorist organization.

More Criminals Than Illegals and Gang Members

And these two gang members were let go with a slap on the wrist and let go with no set bail. Amazing, isn’t it?

The sources said the evidence seized in the raid included a large stash of cocaine, a .40-caliber Glock Gen 22 and more than $3,100 in cash, and all of the suspects were charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Under the state’s bail reform statutes, a judge can opt to set bail on the gun charge based on several factors, including criminal history and chance of rearrest.

But it never came to that.

According to a criminal complaint filed by the Queens DA’s Office the next day, the two migrants were only charged with possession of an imitation handgun — an air gun recovered at the garage. – New York Post

So who are the real criminals here? Sure, the illegals and gang thugs are the ones committing the crimes, but let’s not forget their enablers—the left-leaning progressive lawyers and judges who bend over backward to keep them on the streets. These so-called legal experts treat criminals like victims and law-abiding citizens like the problem. At this point, they’re not just part of the system—they are the system, and it’s rigged in favor of chaos.

I can’t believe Kathy Hochul is still plotting to remove Eric Adams when her political future is hanging by a thread, and Pam Bondi is zeroing in on her like a hawk. Hochul’s busy playing political games while she’s under fire from all sides, with Bondi making it clear that her time in office could soon be up. Instead of focusing on real issues, she’s more concerned with taking down Adams—like a distraction from the fact that she’s got more significant battles to fight, and they’re coming for her.
