The Never Trumpers are apparently still trying to hang on to the grift. They had a Summit a few days ago, apparently. The remaining Never Trumpers decided to hold their event on the same weekend as CPAC. Meanwhile, CPAC was rocking out in the Nation’s Capital.
While CPAC was loud, packed, and full of energy, the Principles First Summit was… quiet. Down the street, CPAC was booming with big speeches, cheering crowds, and excitement. The Principles First Summit? Not so much. From what I’ve read, it was a silent, subdued gathering compared to the frenzy happening just a few blocks away. Reported to be a small, sad little group with serious faces and maybe polite claps. One seemed like a party, the other like a meeting that could’ve been an email.
OPINION: The “Principles First Summit”
Should Be Called “Has-Beens Summit”
Will Go Down As A HUGE FLOP & Will Only Be Attended & Supported By Uniparty Deep State, Lobbyists, & The Military/Intelligence Industrial Complex.

Honestly, if I didn’t write for the Victory Girls, I’d have no idea these people still tried to continue to make Never Trump a thing. What a lonely circle of political castaways who think they are so important they’ve created this Summit called Principles First. Bless their little petty hearts.
The worst thing that could have happened to the professional Never Trump class would have been a Trump defeat. His victory gave them four more years of fear-mongering and slobbering love fests with CNN and MSNBC hosts. A lot of them will have time to write more books about how much Orange Mad Bad is harshing their mellow.
Because it’s so early in the new Trump term, the Never Trump ugly mugs are trying to scare people about what might happen. That will probably work out for them for a couple of years. The longer President Trump is in office with none of their dire predictions coming true, the slower the money will roll in. – PJ Media
But Trump didn’t lose, and the MAGA cheers drown out any irrelevant Never Trump whispers. They can keep sounding their fake alarms and patting themselves on the back for their weak attempts at being sassy toward Trump, but at this point, you just have to laugh.
It would seem that the Principles First brain trust, so desperate were they to appear relevant in a political world that has rejected them, actually believed that someone making a bomb threat — in DC no less –would sign their name to that threat. It’s also very convenient that this small gathering, having been completely overshadowed by CPAC, would have a headline-grabbing event like a bomb threat befall their event. As the kids these days would say, this is “sus.”
The only “principle” the Never Trump crowd seems to be standing for these days is losing—and they do it loudly, embarrassingly, and oh-so-publicly. – Red State
This so-called bomb threat to the First Principles Summit was supposedly called in by none other than J6 defendant Enrique Tarrio. If you remember, Tarrio was convicted of Seditious Conspiracy and sentenced to 22 years. Donald Trump pardoned him.
The organizer of the Never Trump convention seems desperate to pin the bomb threat on Tarrio, so much so that they edited their X post three times to hammer the point home. Maybe the same person who allegedly planted the “pipe bomb” on January 6th is also behind this bomb threat at the Never Trump convention. Cry wolf harder.
Here is Glenn Kirschner, known for prosecuting lengthy RICO trials in DC Federal Court, explaining his Principles First Summit experience with the bomb threat.
Goodness gracious, apparently, claiming they’re under attack is the only way to make their event seem important—because no one was showing up for their “principled” discussion anyway. Maybe next, they’ll start accusing Trump of stealing their lunch money just to stay in the headlines.
With Trump’s grip on the GOP stronger than ever, their angry speeches and fake outrage are starting to feel like a bad reality show that’s run its course. They keep trying to rile people up, but no one’s buying it anymore—this political niche has an expiration date, and it’s soon rather than never.

The fact that Jared Polesmoker was in attendance tells you all you need to know about this group. He and his leftist cabal bought the once great state of Colorado, and are rapidly turning it into a third world sithole that love criminal illegal aliens, and hates Aemrican citizens, especially if they hold actual jobs and own firearms.
I had forgotten all about these people. Thanks for the refresher!
