Nancy Mace May Propose Capitol Restroom Legislation

South Carolina Congresscritter Nancy Mace may propose legislation that would require those in the U.S. House to use the restroom of their sex determined at birth. Mace is pondering this legislation because Sarah McBride, a person who identifies as transgender, has been elected to the U.S. House from Delaware. For the love of all that’s Holy, STOP THIS INSANITY.

An article in The Hill caught my attention last night: “Mace introduces bill to bar trans women from Capitol restrooms”. The poor children who wrote this article tortured themselves and us trying to stay woke in their reporting. Mace isn’t trying to force them to acknowledge reality. No, no. She is asking them to deny their fantasy. Check it out:

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) on Monday introduced a bill to bar transgender women from facilities on Capitol Hill that match their gender identity.

The resolution, which would prohibit members, officers and employees of the House from using single-sex facilities that correspond to their gender identity, comes just a week after Rep.-elect Sarah McBride (D-Del.) made history as the first openly transgender person elected to Congress.

That made my hair hurt. “(U)sing single-sex facilities that correspond to their gender identity”. Do you really think these children have been so brainwashed that they are completely credulous, completely unquestioning? That was rhetorical. We know. The House Sergeant at Arms gets a prominent role in this Theater of the Absurd:

The measure charges the House sergeant-at-arms, William McFarland, with enforcing the ban, according to text previewed by The Hill, but it is unclear how the House’s chief law enforcement officer will determine who can and cannot use the Capitol’s facilities.

State laws that bar transgender people from using public restrooms that match their gender identity often rely on anonymous complaints, a notoriously unreliable enforcement mechanism. LGBTQ rights activists in May flooded a tip line designed to alert officials in Utah to possible violations of the state’s bathroom ban with thousands of false complaints.

Bwa ha ha. I can just see Ilhan Omar, AOC and Rashida Tlaib calling in anonymous complaints to the poor Sergeant at Arms. Sitting in their offices and putting on fake Republican accents.

Sarah, formerly known as Tim, McBride is not taking this sitting down. Get it?

“This is a blatant attempt from far right-wing extremists to distract from the fact that they have no real solutions to what Americans are facing,” McBride said in a statement. “We should be focused on bringing down the cost of housing, health care and child care, not manufacturing culture wars.”

“Delawareans sent me here to make the American dream more affordable and accessible and that’s what I’m focused on,” she said.

Mace is currently in talks with leadership regarding how to bring the measure to the floor, a source familiar with the matter told The Hill.

It is a “crisis of hope”:

It’s no longer about your sex or gender. It’s your “lived gender”:

McBride is so stunning, so brave.

Jen Psaki’s lived gender is “Raggedy Ann”, and she is down with Sarah:

MSNBC host Jen Psaki on Sunday described how President-elect Donald Trump and Republicans have amplified “bad-faith attacks” toward the transgender community, and warned Democrats not to fall for their “noise.”

“It’s important not to yield to manufactured panic, and to align with the actual facts before making sweeping claims,” Psaki said. “Echoing and adopting the panic from the other side is not leading. It’s not meeting people where they are. It’s simply falling prey to right-wing propaganda without checking the facts first.”

What facts are we supposed to check out, Jen? We let too much slide for too long. It may be a small minority, but they and their allies are aggressive and bullying and throw their weight around.

Finally, I have to address the irony in the interwebs. Nancy Mace entered a space for men in 1995. I am the Mother of a graduate of The Citadel and my Husband and I sent a lot of money to that school. The irony is as thick as the walls at Fort Sumter. Nancy is on the right side this time.

Miss Mace is in negotiations for the bill right now. At some point, women, and there is only one kind of woman, have to have the right to say NO. When the dig McBride up in 200 years, scientists will identify him as a man.

When the dig McBride up in 200 years, scientists will identify him as a MALE… FIFY Toni.. he misses the mark on being a MAN by a wide margin..

  • John C. says:

I have a transgender friend of long standing, and she (I use her female pronouns due to that friendship) does her level best to avoid situations that could make people aware she was once a man. She is continually annoyed at trans activists who force their self-aggrandizing agenda on the public to the detriment of those who just want to be left alone.
