Mirrors….

Mirrors….

Oh, the times, they sure are interesting….

I open up the inter-webs today to find two stories about Dear Leader, who in his magnaninmity and by his leave is letting us know that he is ready to use all his mighty powers of executive action to help every American.

President Obama on Tuesday said he’s “not just going to be waiting for legislation” from Congress to move forward his agenda in 2014, further stoking a clash between both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue over the reach of executive power.

“I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone,” Obama said before a Cabinet meeting at the WhiteHouse, issuing a challenge to GOP lawmakers who have blocked most of his second-term agenda.

Evidently, Mr. PINO, and former Constitutional Law Professor didn’t take his own class.  My mother warned me about men of his nature.  She told me a long time ago to not to spend any time with a man that spends his time gazing for too long into mirrors or to entertain their offers of love if they owned more than one mirror.

Given this president and his penchant for admiring himself and all his power, my bet is that at certain times of the day, the reflection of the sun on the numbers of mirrors in the White House must be visible in space.

Sure Mr. PINO, you could just “order” things to happen, but there are two other co-equal branches of government (must have missed that part of your Con Law lectures huh?) and even in their near feckless states, they can act to  check what you do, and given the false numbers and continued dissatisfaction with your regime that is growing in America, maybe working with them and reaching across the aisle to them might be a good idea.

And the Americans who should be the most frightened by talk of this nature are liberals.  Despite what they think, the country is still center right, and there are millions of Americans who not only vote that way, but use logic and common sense (although, that is faltering as well), but if they haven’t figured it out yet, here is why they should be afraid:  If this president can just executively order things to be done, so could any other elected president after this one….

A conservative president could just executively order that Roe v. Wade is invalid, you know, kind of like he has done with portions of Obama-care.  A conservative president could executively order the Minimum Wage to be 2.00 per hour.  A conservative president could decide he didn’t need the Department of Education, the ATF, the HHS and the EPA and with his mighty pen merely disband them; thus ending government involvement in Common Core, Gun Control, Obama-care and Global Warming.  A conservative president could decide that not only is women in combat a great idea, but their registration for Selective Service is a great idea as well and mandate that every woman graduating from 18 to 26 be required to register.  A conservative president could decide that the First Amendment is not important and mandate that any news outlet besides Fox News is summarily in violation of the First Amendment and declare them illegal and have them shut down.

You like apples libs?  How about those apples?  Not such a great idea to have a guy in charge just “ordering” things to happen now is it?  And what is to stop him?  The press you say?  Oh, like the press that constantly hammered a Republican president into single digit approval territory over the War in Iraq, WMD and every other issue he spoke about, but he was still President?  The people then?  What if the people are super-happy with his abolishing the Department of Education, ATF, HHS and the EPA and like the changes he made?  What then?

The final check against the power of any tyrant is the prospect of revolt, rebellion or revolution.  The ingenious founders built in the 2nd Amendment knowing that the Army, even a standing one, would never outnumber the people.  People call me crazy, but I believe that we area already on the path to revolt.  In this case, revolt will begin at the ballot box in about 10 months time, and hopefully we will not have to get to the point where we see rebellion and revolution.

The American people are growing weary of hearing about 6.7 percent unemployment, knowing it isn’t because of a plethora of jobs; it is from a deficit of them and despondent job seekers have given up looking, thus skewing the math (10.8 percent right now if that was factored in).  They are tired of “if you like your doctor and your health plan, you can keep them,” “It was a video that caused the attack,” and the pile of lies you continue to tell.  They are tired of being insulted, slandered, talked down to and lectured at.  I count myself among my friends and acquaintances who are going to be racing to the ballot box in November.

So, Mr. PINO, the clock ticks on toward November 2014 and the time for honoring yourself and admiring how presidential you look  in every one of those mirrors while you use your pen and your phone is coming to an end.

Good luck with that whole “I got a pen and a phone” thing.  My guess is that the closer we get to November, when you call someone, they are going to tell you where you can shove that pen.

There is some question (based on his evident lack of knowledge) as to whether he ever taught Constitutional Law.

BTW, Dejah, did your mother include signal mirrors in that number? I have one mirror in each bathroom (they come standard) and at least two signal mirrors (one in a survival kit and one that I use to shave in the shower – that one is hung over the shower curtain rod with 550 cord). How’m I doin’?

    If only.

From your mouth to God’s ear, Dejah…..so be it!!

I didn’t vote for Mr. PINO either time, I’m too familiar with where he cut his political teeth..Chicago/Cook County, which has been recently designated as the most corrupt city in America. Old NYC’s Tammany Hall has nothing on Chicago…the much less-than-Honorable Mayor Richard J. Daley made Boss Tweed look angelic. It’s so utterly sad that our first non-Caucasian president is a born&bred Marxist Communist, taqiyyah abusing, bold-assed, fraud who is totally inept, with a Napolean/Stalin complex. Oh, I almost forgot…mirror worshipping Narcissist-in-Chief!

    Thank you, Dejah, great article!

Believe me, they are afraid, and desperate to as Rep Great Great Granda John Dingell (D)-MI accidently let out of the bag a couple of yrs ago, “Put the legislation in place to CONTROL THE PEOPLE)”. Because they know that no matter how many fraudulent polls and votes they manufacture, when the time comes, Names on tombstones, cartoon characters and multiple identities are incapable of wielding a rifle, a pitchfork, or even a torch!!! It may be possible to win/steal an election with an army of make-believe citizens, but a civil-war not so much!!!
