michael jackson, r.i.p.

michael jackson, r.i.p.

michael jackson dead. he was only 50 years old. and though i grew up a rocker chick, as a kid i would watch michael jackson videos over and over to try to moon walk!

this is the michael jackson i loved, not what he’s been in the last 20 years.

michael jackson’s ‘beat it’

jackson 5 ‘abc’

so much talent. so much was expected of him at such a young age. so much tragedy and drama always surrounding him. a very troubled soul indeed.

play the videos. it’s worth it!

This is stunning news. What a tragic life.

Right now I am listening to Sharpton spewing on my TV about how MJ was villified. Sharpton is ugly on a 45″ flat.

michael we luv u! we will alwayz miss u and ur talent. we will not forget u!! the world has lost a music genius. thank u michael for ur music. i luv u. we r doin a vigil 4 u tonite. xoxoxo

  • He had enormous talent that transformed pop music. It’s such a shame he will be remembered more for the caricature he became than for the talent and his contributions to music.

  • Ken says:

Ok, what’s your favorite Michael Jackson song?

Mine would have to be “Don’t stop till you get enough”.

  • Gigi says:

michael i luv u. miss u already. xo

  • Jared says:

I like the song he did about the rat… “BEN”

  • Jane says:

    Great talent. Bad choices. R.I.P.

I liked all his music until he turned bizarre but I liked “Got to be there” from his young days.

  • Marsha says:

I love that video! I love the whole “Thriller” album. I guess my favorite song is “Billie Jean”.

Kate I am trying to picture you moon walking in bunny slippers. 😛

  • Paul says:

The guy was a creepy pedophile. Why glorify him?

I hated his music so no favorite song here. He was a closet f*g who always grabbed his d*ck.

  • Stacie says:

He was not a pedophile. He was not convicted. He was not gay and so what if he was. He was a true legend! An American Icon! I like that the writer here called him “a troubled soul”. That best describes him. Many true artists and geniuses are.

  • Thomas says:

Maybe this is a hoax. Maybe he isn’t really dead but is actually trying to run out on his massive debts. Maybe he’ll surface someday in Dubai wearing a burka. Just thinking out loud. I also believe in UFO’s and that Elvis is alive.

  • Micky says:

    You’re a nasty POS.
The man was never convicted and did more for this planet in one day than you could if you lived a thousand years

  • kate says:

the guy lived and died a tragic figure. i think he was pretty suspect myself but he was never convicted as someone said. it’s times like this, that it would do you good to show a wee bit of grace.

  • Michael says:

Hey, have you seen this news article?
New details about Michael Jackson’s Death Emerge
I was wondering if you were going to blog about this…

  • lisab says:

“He was not a pedophile. He was not convicted.”

that he was not convicted does not make him innocent — except under the law.

would you have let him watch your child if your child was an eight year old boy?

he was an extremely talented musician, singer, entertainer and songwriter … but very suspect.

  • lisab says:

the operations and veils and all that stuff does not bother me at all … it was his life.

    hurting children is another matter.

did he do it? was he a pedophile? i suspect he may have been … either way he has been judged. i hope he was not, and if not, i hope he rests in peace.

It’s so sad to hear about Michael Jackson. As a dancer, I’m performed almost every one of his hits in some form or another. A lot of celebrities have died recently, but he’s the first one that had a big impact on my life personally. It’s a really weird feeling. Anyway, nice post. 😉

  • Rope says:

Although I wasn’t a huge fan I too would watch his videos over and over. Once in a small bar in Mexico I even danced to the spanish version of Beat It, not a pretty site.

So much talent surrounded by so much controversy. Was he a pedophile? That’s between him and his lord now. I will pray for his family and his children because above all else they have lost from what I can tell a loving father, son, and brother to them.

Man In The Mirror thats my favorite MJ song.

  • Micky says:

Nobody wants to die with one of their last thoughts being that they were a failure. From the way it appears that very well could be the case with Michael. Theres much discussion about his next tour and how it was supposed to clear up a huge chunk of his mounting debt while putting him back in the spotlight. Since obviously none of this will take place now I certainly hope he wasnt too hard on himself in the last few days or right at the moment he realized he might die.
I was a fan in the sense that as a musician I could see and admire the amount of talent and dedication that went into his work. My taste in music is very eclectic, Michael never fit into that mix but that still doesnt take away from being able to recognize what an incredible talent and gift he was to the world.
I believe he was delusional enough in his own world to actually believe that he could surround himself with kids, say and do the weird things he did associated with them and not understand that he was making himslef look very questionable, suspect and freaky at times. He was pertty oblivious to what public opinion was on just as many other matters if you think about it. Since when did he ever give a crap what something looked like ?
I dont know, I pray he never hurt any kids. Theres just as many if not more people that will do some really sick sh*t for money as their are pedophiles.
I remember in 7th grade during the year end school dance, “Rockin Robin” came on and every girl in the school made it out to the dance floor with or without a partner.
    Little did we know…

    Take care Mike.

he is the king of pop forever!and for? the fans he will never die, too!NOBODY CAN TOP HIM!HE WAS A GREAT DANCER
