Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Of Speaker Mike Johnson: He’s A Democrat

Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) is at it again. Now the hotdogging Georgia Rep is comparing Speaker Mike Johnson to a Nancy Pelosi clone who might as well be a Democrat. Some say Marjorie has gone too far again.

It didn’t take MTG long to fall out of love with Mike Johnson (5 months) and put forth a motion to vacate the newly anointed Speaker. Some Republicans don’t like that idea one bit. But what are we to do? Just roll over for the Democrats? I guess it’s sort of like a damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

Victory Girl Deanna wrote an excellent piece on Mike Johnson and the Ukraine funding issue just days ago. And yes, she’s right about much of it, especially the part about the Democrats loving our family feuds.

But I must ask, does MTG remind us that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck? Comparing Speaker Mike Johnson’s actions to Nancy Pelosi or Mitch McConnell is simply her way of keeping the heat on him. Perhaps this will help remind the rest of the American citizens about what is happening with their public servants.

People just don’t want to do the hard stuff anymore. Oh, let’s say, like a government shutdown.

The only thing Marjorie Taylor Greene has gone too far in is bringing Mike’s wife into the fray when she told Steve Bannon on his podcast, “One guy said it to me like this, he goes, does someone have Mike Johnson’s wife tied up somewhere and have a gun to her head? What is wrong with Mike Johnson?

Whether or not a real person said that to her, her bringing it up and saying it out loud was stupid and foolish.

It’s all about the money and the never-ending cash flow going to Ukraine—with no oversight, mind you.

Allow me to remind everyone that, yes, indeed, cash is going to Ukraine:

Fact Check from AP

CLAIM: The U.S. is not providing cash to Ukraine; it only supports the country through donated military equipment.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. While the U.S. is indeed providing weapons and equipment to Ukraine, it has also provided billions in financial assistance to the country following Russia’s invasion.

THE FACTS: Former Congressman Adam Kinzinger, a Republican from Illinois, made the inaccurate suggestion recently while taking aim at Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has been critical of U.S. aid to Ukraine.

“People like MTG in re: #Ukraine. The aid is not pallets of cash. It’s in the form of military equipment, assigned a value, that is donated,” Kinzinger wrote in a tweet. “That equipment is usually older and would be replaced in the next few years anyway, at a cost. I’m sure she doesn’t understand this.”

But while the U.S. has indeed sent Bradley vehicles, ammunition, weapons and other equipment to Ukraine during its war with Russia, the support doesn’t stop there. – AP News

But we all knew that already, didn’t we? Let me also remind Adam that we are handing over more than just old donated equipment; we are building their ammunition, too.

The reporter in the following video lays out three options for funding Ukraine. While some of us would like to send ZERO dollars to Ukraine, we are probably a small group and will, therefore, be ignored. So, if we must fund Ukraine, I vote for the third option, explained by using the frozen assets of the Russian oligarchs.

No, I do not want to go through finding a new Speaker. I just ask that this current one grow a spine.

In a phone interview with CNN’s Manu Raju on Wednesday, Greene reportedly showed no sign of being deterred by warnings from within her conference to quell her resistance to Johnson. She sharply criticized Johnson for striking a bipartisan deal on a $1.2 trillion funding bill that averted a partial government shutdown. – The Hill

Can we all make it to the election in one piece, please?

Perhaps Lara Trump should stay out of the music studio and focus more on her RNC co-chair position. We’ve got to grow.

I guess Green and Gaetz are the only real Republicans. Greene is a squad level loon.

And I would like a cat, provided I could find one that barks and would give birth to puppies.

As the saying goes, people in Hell want icewater.

I don’t see that as “bringing his wife into the fray….” At least, not from the information you’ve provided.

The idea of tying someone’s wife to a chair is an extension of the damsel-tied-to-the-tracks trope that has existed since at least the era of silent film. She’s suggesting that Johnson has been personally compromised and is in no way attacking (or otherwise bringing into the conversation) his wife as an individual. She doesn’t name, attack, or blame her for the current situation. His actual wife has neither agency nor even personification in the entire narrative.

There are many legitimate points over which to criticize Ms. Greene, her statement with regard to Johnson’s wife is not among them.

    • Hate_me says:

Does someone, in fact, have his wife tied up with a gun to her head?

That, given Johnson’s recent behavior, is a legitimate question.

  • Scott says:

No question that the focus needs to be on winning in November, by big enough margins to put a stop to the destruction of our Republic. That being said, Kinzinger, his military service not withstanding, is a Soros loving globalist, no matter what lies he tells. There’s a reason he’s gone. do NOT trust anything he says.
