New Yorkers wouldn’t be persuaded, no matter how many receipts were produced. Even direct quotes from Zohran Mamdani couldn’t dissuade the True Believers™ and the grinning socialist Islamist from Uganda was elected.

We’ve covered Mayor FreeStuff, his blood-sucking budget, and his targeting of the NYPD. A lot of that was quite predictable given Zohran has been the old-school commie darling of the Democratic Socialists of America reprobates.

But there something darker afoot. Something that we’ve witnessed too clearly in cities like Paris and London. It’s Zohran doing everything in his power to Islamize New York City — and it evident by the people he keeps on hiring to prominent roles in his administration.

New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani (D.) has appointed three officials who cofounded a Muslim group that blamed Israel for Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, attack to prominent roles in his administration. One of them is serving as Mamdani’s head of faith-based partnerships, another as his chief of immigrant affairs, and the third as the leader of his judiciary advisory committee.

The three are Faiza Ali, Aliya Latif, and Ali Najmi, outspoken anti-Semites now in positions where their Jew-and-America hating selves can exert power.

Latif became the executive director of the Mayor’s Office of Faith-Based Partnerships earlier this month, with the mayor announcing her appointment at an interfaith breakfast at which she urged city clergy to resist immigration enforcement. Latif has reposted accusations that Israel has committed a “genocide” on X, as well as reposting support for Marcellus Williams, a Muslim convicted murderer who was executed in September 2024. Williams was found guilty of stabbing a reporter with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch 43 times.

Faiza Ali worked for years for the Islamoterrorist-support organization, CAIR. Ali Najmi has long been a very vocal supporter of infamous anti-Semite Linda Sarsour and he is now on Mamdani’s Judiciary Committee. Which is in line with other appointments like:

New York City has the largest Jewish community outside Israel and Mamdani is looking to make it as uncomfortable as possible. Because, as Nerdeen Kiswami said

“Finally, NYC is coming to Islam.”

Like Mamdani, chasing Jews, then Christians, out of New York City Nū‑Yūrikah is a feature of their tribal demographics.

The Muslim population of New York City is still undetermined. While Islamist groups claim that there are over 1 million Muslims, they tend to exaggerate to build up their influence, but a Pew survey estimated Muslim settlers as making up 3% of the population of New York City.

Mamdani only won the votes of 5% of the population of New York City. That’s within 2% of the estimated Muslim population of the city. Whatever the actual size of the Muslim population of the city may be, it was more than enough to make the difference in a mayoral primary that few New Yorkers bothered to vote even while mosques successfully turned out the bloc vote.

It’s pretty hard to ignore what unfettered importation of non-Western/Islamic cultures has done to Europe. Whether it is Sweden now number 2 in the world of per-capita rape, or Britain’s Rotherham scandal, or Paris’ no-go zones.

Yet New Yorkers seem to have thought “It can’t happen here.”

9/11 has, indeed, been forgotten.
