Leadership Looks Like Winsome Sears

Winsome Sears showed real backbone, the kind we don’t see often in politics anymore. Abigail Spanberger, on the other hand, showed how far a politician will go to avoid giving a straight answer.

In case you missed the Virginia governor’s debate last night, you’ve probably seen the clips all over social media this morning. And if you haven’t, let me catch you up. It was something to see.

For regular people like you and me, it is shocking to watch someone shrug off political violence and act like it is perfectly fine for men to invade women’s spaces. Two moments said it all. Sears pressed Spanberger to answer for the Jay Jones texts, and she called her out on the locker room issue.

Sears Faced Violence Head-On

Right from the start, Sears pushed Spanberger to take a stand. After the Jay Jones texts came out, where he threatened violence against a Republican, Sears asked the obvious question. Does Spanberger still support him or not?

That should have been an easy answer, but Spanberger dodged it over and over. She tried to slither out of it with a line about everyone ‘running their own race’ and then blamed the people who released the messages instead of the man who wrote them.

Let me help Blondie out. Here was the question from the moderator: Will you continue to endorse Jay Jones to be the next attorney general of Virginia? The immediate answer should have been NO.

Thankfully, Sears didn’t let it go when Spanberger started regurgitating the Left’s usual lines to avoid admitting what they really believe — that political violence is acceptable when it serves their side.

When someone running for governor can’t even condemn violent rhetoric from her own party, that’s not just weak, it’s dangerous. The Democrats seem fine with it.

The Locker Room Exchange

If you’ve been paying attention in Virginia, you already know how heated things have gotten over boys in girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms. Parents have been showing up at school board meetings across the state, demanding answers and pushing back against policies that put girls at risk. This debate didn’t happen in a vacuum — it’s the same fight happening in local schools every week.

Two weeks ago, a reporter asked Little Blondie the same thing after one of her rallies. She couldn’t answer it then, either.

She launched into a Kamala-esque word salad about government funding and money being taken away, and of course blamed Trump. Same old routine.

So when the moderator asked about the issue, Sears didn’t hesitate. She asked Spanberger directly if she supported letting biological males share those private spaces with women.

Spanberger dodged. She said the decision should be left to local communities. Translation: she didn’t want to say what she really believes.

Sears said what every parent already knows. Girls deserve privacy and safety. That shouldn’t be controversial.

Spanberger looked like she just wanted the question to go away.

A Pattern of Weakness

Sears stayed calm and steady while Spanberger looked like she wanted to disappear. But I think that’s just her normal state of mind.

When things got uncomfortable, Spanberger drifted into the usual party fog instead of answering. Sears spoke with conviction, not permission. She didn’t talk to please a base or a lobby. She spoke like a woman who knows right from wrong and isn’t afraid to say it.

What This Debate Proved

The debate was supposed to show two different visions for Virginia. Instead, it showed the difference between courage and cowardice.

Sears took hard questions and answered them with confidence. Spanberger took easy ones and still found a way to dodge. That is why the night belonged to Winsome Sears.

She stood her ground and spoke for parents, for women, and for people who are tired of politicians pretending not to know the truth. Spanberger just proved she’s not one of them.

I wish upon anything you choose that this kind of thing would make a difference.

    It won’t.

This will not change a single Dem-wing “mind” (I use the term loosely) to not vote for this rancid piece of collectivist, statist, authoritarian garbage in human form. These idiots make up a voting bloc so solid I don’t think you could chip them away with a chisel and sledgehammer. They will almost reflexively vote for anything with a “D” after its name on the ballot, even a yellow dog (which is more or less what we have here), hence the name “yellow-dog Democrat”.

The target for this type of thing should be the younger voters who have not yet solidified their stupidity. There is a small, but finite, chance of changing their minds from the life-long socialist indoctrination they have absorbed almost through the skin since their birth. Every single thing in their life tells them to vote with a herd rather than thinking independently…their K-12 government indoctrination centers euphemistically referred to as “schools”, their social media, their entertainment. They have been systematically taught to NOT think, but only emote and join. There may still be some hope for the vanishingly small number of them that can still think for themselves, and can see the results of cause-and-effect.
