Columbia protestor Mahmoud Khalil, who now faces deportation after yesterday’s ruling, believes his student visa gives him the right to protest against the US government and say anything he wants. And, with this latest ruling, his lawyers have jumped many sharks and are claiming that Nazis have more rights than he does.
Lawyers for Columbia University agitator Mahmoud Khalil argued that Nazis can “express their beliefs” in the United States while their client faces deportation – and dramatically warned that “anyone could be next.”
Khalil’s attorney, Marc van der Hout, ripped the feds for a “lack of due process” following a ruling in Louisiana immigration court Friday that favored the government’s bid to boot the Syrian-born permanent resident out of the country over his anti-Israel activism on the embattled Ivy League campus.
“Our constitution allows people to speak their minds,” van der Hout said at a virtual press conference.
“Nazis in this country, the Supreme Court has held, are able to demonstrate, are able to express their beliefs – but not Mahmoud Khalil. The Ku Klux Klan is able to march and express its beliefs – but not Mahmoud Khalil.
Keep in mind, this is a guy who was at the forefront of multiple Columbia campus protests since just after October 7. He’s been incredibly vocal about and against Israel from then until now. Heck, he even had the opportunity to pen a ‘woe is me I’m just a lowly downtrodden Palestinian who wants to make good against all odds’ op-ed.
My arrest was a direct consequence of exercising my right to free speech as I advocated for a free Palestine and an end to the genocide in Gaza, which resumed in full force Monday night. With January’s ceasefire now broken, parents in Gaza are once again cradling too-small shrouds, and families are forced to weigh starvation and displacement against bombs. It is our moral imperative to persist in the struggle for their complete freedom.

I have always believed that my duty is not only to liberate myself from the oppressor, but also to liberate my oppressors from their hatred and fear. My unjust detention is indicative of the anti-Palestinian racism that both the Biden and Trump administrations have demonstrated over the past 16 months as the US has continued to supply Israel with weapons to kill Palestinians and prevented international intervention. For decades, anti-Palestinian racism has driven efforts to expand US laws and practices that are used to violently repress Palestinians, Arab Americans, and other communities. That is precisely why I am being targeted.
And he continues on with the ‘I’ve been singled out to stifle dissent and thus render free speech invalid!’ shtick. And the lemmings fall in line.
Guess what buster? You are a GUEST in this country and the rules are clear. Follow our laws or you go home.
His involvement in the protests led to a significant rise in antisemitism across the Columbia campus, classes cancelled, students AND staff harassed and intimidated, and more. Yet by his thinking, he gets to advocate against Israel, cheer for the October 7 attacks and urge more militant behavior regardless of the rules of the country he is a guest in.
ABC News is having a normal one. In which they essentially claim (right at the beginning of this video) that this is a targeted witch hunt by the Trump Administration.
Media bias is alive and well ladies and gentlemen! And they got a statement from Khalil’s wife.
“No person should be deemed removable from their home for speaking out against the killing of Palestinian families, doctors and journalists,” Abdalla’s statement said. “Today, in court, the government reiterated the same baseless racist claims about my husband that we have heard time and again, an attempt to smear those calling for an end to Israel’s brutal genocide in Gaza. My husband is a political prisoner who is being deprived of his rights because he believes Palestinians deserve equal dignity and freedom.”
She continued, “There is nothing the government can say about my husband that can silence this truth. This ruling is an indictment of our country’s immigration system and does not reflect truth, justice or the will of the American people.”
Again, the dude was a guest in our country who was told to abide by our rules. He did not. He clearly showed that he was pro-Hamas, pro-Gaza, and very much against any Jewish presence at Columbia or elsewhere. And firmly believes because reasons and politics, he should be allowed free rein.
That’s not the case here at all. Actions have consequences.
Which means people are gonna do their protest thing today.

Very cute socialist poster isn’t it?
To the larger point of their claim that Nazis have more rights than Khalil does. I’m just laughing at that. If that is all they can come up with…
Khalil espoused and promoted terrorist activity. That’s against the law if one is a green card and/or visa holder. I’d venture that Khalil knew that, but banked on the incredibly lenient Biden Administration to allow him to skate.
Mahmoud Khalil FU’d, he’s in the Finding Out stage.

Khalil has the same rights as a Nazi – the U.S. deported one in 2021 after an immigration Judge found that he had been a Concentration Camp guard in WWII:

Not to mention that this clown supports Ham-Ass, which is an openly and proud slamonazi organization, who’s charter could.have easily been written by one of Hitlers henchmen, so their whining rings quite hollow.
