Keep Saying It….

I know, broken record…  Heard it and seen it all before…  Liberals are crazy.  So open minded their brains fall out.

But really, it should be in the DSM as a disorder.  A mental disorder.  People who have it should be institutionalized.

My first case in point today; Barbara Walters talking to Piers Morgan.

PIERS MORGAN, HOST: You have interviewed every president of my lifetime. Why is Obama facing so much opposition now? Why is he struggling so much to really fulfill the great flame of ambition and excitement that he was elected on originally in 2009?

BARBARA WALTERS: Well, you’ve touched on it to a degree. He made so many promises. We thought that he was going to be – I shouldn’t say this at Christmastime – but the next messiah. And the whole ObamaCare, or whatever you want to call it, the Affordable Health Act, it just hasn’t worked for him, and he’s stumbled around on it, and people feel very disappointed because they expected more.

It’s very difficult when the expectations for you are very high. You’re almost better off when they are low and then they rise and rise. His were very high and they’ve dropped. But you know, he still has several years to go. What does he have, three years, Piers? And, you know, there will be a lot of changes, one thinks in that time.

When she is talking about “we” she isn’t just talking about the brainwashed 90 percent of the black community or the hipster douchebags at Berkeley, she is talking about the elites in all of the columns of society.  The fact that these people let themselves be sucked into the whole “we are the ones we have been waiting for” sham, to me and many who think like me, is its own reward; except we are stuck sharing in this reward too.

People who can think critically already knew that a bi-racial man from Hawaii who never worked a real job in the private sector and had gone from State senator (voting present) to the US Senate (lofty words) and who had no experience in the realm of leadership and executive management beyond possibly being in charge of naming the washrooms would be the crappiest pick for president ever; but the mouth breathers and white-guilty elites who decided to vote “not Bush” in two separate elections have only themselves to blame for what they see.  All of us knew he was a “messiah” about as much as we knew he was an “apple.”  But for people blinded by the fog of liberalism who are in dire need of medication, he was indeed the second coming.

Good then.  His cross to bear will be the running tab and litany of things like “Fast and Furious,” Benghazi, Libya, sending back the bust of Winston Churchill and Obamacare in which history will be most unkind to him.  Will he ascend into liberal heaven and have books written of him?  Possibly, but not many want to read the rantings of someone who thought electing this guy was a smart and informed decision.

My next case today; Little Boys and the things they do.

A 5-year-old boy was reportedly suspended from school after making a gun gesture with his hand on the playground.

His father, David Hendrix, was furious when he found out his son was issued a suspension for the gesture.

“He was playing army on the playground,” Hendrix told WBTV. “I just felt like the punishment was way too severe.”

It appears that these beta-pussies in the schools can’t even handle the sight of a finger gun.  How do these wilting flowers make it through their day surrounded by so much mortal danger?  I mean, from the moment they wake, it is showers, hot coffee, kitchen knives, microwave ovens, driving…  The list just goes on and on…  This one ends in a victory for the good guys though.  Read it through to the end.

And just now, according to John Podesta, the GOP is a cult.  Project much John?

I would never have thought that America would reach a time that the hard working, God Fearing, tax paying people would be the outsiders.  I guess I always knew that the hippies wanted to run the show, but word to the wise hippies; that guy, “The Man” who was keeping everyone down.  That guy is now you.  you are “The Man” and now you can see what us squares were talking about.  It ain’t so easy being the HMFIC.  It’s hard.  You have to make decisions and some of those aren’t going to make someone happy.  You are “the Man” who is canceling everyone’s insurance.  You are “the Man” who is sending men to fight your wars.  You are “the Man” who is telling everyone what to do and how to live.

Liberals helped elect a guy without a shred of experience running anything to run the most free and complicated organization and society in human history, and based upon his rhetorical flourishes, greek columns, dramatic hand gestures they thought he would stop the rising of the seas, give health care to all, be universally loved and adored by all nations, destroy the wicked, bring peace to our world and as a side benefit; magically put a chicken in every pot and money in every wallet all while guaranteeing freedom, love and equality throughout the land.

Who exactly is like a cult again John?

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder…  Just keep saying it, and point it out to everyone you talk politics with.

I’ve said numerous times: the main failing of “liberalism” is its belief in the perfectability of man. They refuse to acknowledge that man is broken and corrupt in nature and no matter what you do, that nature will eventually come out and bite you. They believe that if you throw enough money/education/programs/government at the problem, it can be made better (and eventually perfect). That is the nature of “progressivism” – “progressing” toward that perfect, Brave New World.

except we are stuck sharing in this reward too.
Reminds me of the classic joke with the nervous first-time flyer. His seat mate tries to calm him, and eventually tells him that “Well, when it’s your time to go, it’s your time.” The nervous flyer responds, “I’m not worried if it’s my time; what if it’s the pilot’s time?”

As to “being ‘the Man'”, I have adopted a Godwinesque rhetorical point. For most of my life, I have heard the question asked (when discussing the Holocaust and WW2), “How could they have let that happen? How could they have allowed it?” If someone has voted for Obama twice, I simply bring up that question, then point to them and say, “You are ‘they’.”

From the “Catechism of the Catholic Church”

675 Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.

676 The Antichrist’s deception already begins to take shape in the world every time the claim is made to realize within history that messianic hope which can only be realized beyond history through the eschatalogical judgment. The Church has rejected even modified forms of this falsification of the kingdom to come under the name of millenarianism, especially the “intrinsically perverse” political form of a secular messianism.

Note that last phrase: “especially the ‘intrinsically perverse’ political form of a secular messianism.” So, what she means whe specifically stating “the next messiah” is way beyond me. What is conceivably so virtuous about hime that she would even have such a thought? The more of the utterances I hear the more I think I’m the one coming down with a mental disorder.
