Kamala Harris went down to the southern border the other day for a 20-minute visit. And instead of everyone talking about how this visit is simply to make herself look like she gives a damn, we get to hear all about her choice of jewelry.

Most of the time, I really don’t give a rip what the women in politics are wearing. Do we ever hear about what a male politician is wearing? That is unless it’s a transvestite.

However, I get why everyone is talking about middle-class Kamala’s Tiffany & Co. Graduated Link Necklace in 18k yellow gold. Women’s Wear Daily simply raved and gushed over the Democratic Presidential installed candidate’s choice of accessories to wear to the border. I can’t fault WWD; that’s what they do; they are a fashion publication.

Remember when the media loved to make fun of Melania Trump’s fashion choices? I do. The liberals are so bizarre, and it amazes me that they can’t appreciate a woman such as Melania. She represents some of what they say they admire. Melania is an immigrant, for crying out loud.

But I digress. If you want a glimpse of Kamala’s necklace, she’s wearing it in this placid interview with Stephanie Ruhle.

People are criticizing Harris for wearing the ridiculously overpriced necklace to the border. But it’s not the first time she’s worn it.

In a Newsweek article dated August 6, 2024, Republicans clutched their pearls over the same Tiffany necklace Kamala wore while asking for donations.

In a video posted to her Facebook account on July 26, the vice president said, “Today. Not tomorrow, not next week. Today is the day I hope you will donate to support our movement. Because the truth is, time is running out. We’re in the final lap of this race, and election day will be here before you and I know it. So I need you to act now, so your donation can have the greatest impact. The stakes in this election could not be higher. And we cannot throw up our hands when we must roll up our sleeves. Let’s get to work.”

In the video, Harris can be seen wearing a gold interlinking necklace with a white shirt and cream-colored blazer. It appears to be the same necklace she’s worn at other events, including at a fundraising campaign in Massachusetts on July 27.

Doug Emhoff’s propensity to cheat leaves me wondering if Kamala’s necklace wasn’t a little token of “Sorry, honey.” Alright, we’re moving on.

Perhaps she wore the necklace to distract us and get us talking about jewelry instead of her administration’s disastrous job with our border. A $62,000 Tiffany necklace is undoubtedly something to talk about, that’s for sure, but so are 60,000 illegals crossing into the United States every 10 days.

Or how about the 15,000 illegal immigrants currently living in the U.S. who are convicted or accused of homicide. Boy, that’s a dandy, isn’t it? Kamala Harris let them into our country. Period.

But now, Kamala wants us to think she cares about the border. And what about that Senate Border Security Deal she keeps saying as President, she’ll make sure it gets to her desk to sign? That same Senate Border Deal she keeps lying about when she tells us that Donald Trump killed to keep the border crisis in the news? When did Donald Trump become a Senator to vote to kill this bill?

Let’s look at this Senate Border Security Bill a little closer, shall we? Remember, this is the bill Kamala wants to sign with such eagerness.

It appears to be a do-nothing bill, just like her job performance as Vice President.

Apparently, this Senator Border Security Bill would have done nothing to curtail the flow of illegals into the United States. In fact, it could make it worse.The most important point to understand is that the Senate bill did not even attempt to address the known pull factors for illegal immigration across the southern border. These pull factors include, principally, the near-guarantee of release into the United States after apprehension by a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) officer. – CIS.org

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) cannot detain migrants who arrive with children for more than 20 days. However, that rule comes from a 30-year-old court settlement. It used to take only 20 days to complete immigration proceedings. Nowadays, with the numbers out of control, they just give them phones with an app telling them to check-in.

Second, DHS, under Biden administration leadership, has done nearly everything in its power to ignore federal laws that requires DHS to detain illegal entrants pending completion of their immigration proceedings. CIS.org

This quote needs no further explanation. Except to ask why no one has been held accountable for this egregiousness.

And finally, there’s this –

Third, the Senate bill did nothing to address DHS’s abuse of its parole authority. Congress has strictly limited circumstances in which DHS may lawfully parole an alien into the United States and crafted the parole statute such that it may only be used “sparingly”. Specifically, the statute only permits DHS to parole an alien temporarily into the Untied States, on a case-by-case basis, for urgent humanitarian or significant public benefit reasons.

The Biden administration has taken this small loophole in immigration law and turned it into a black hole. In addition to permitting aliens to schedule their unlawful arrival to the United States using the CBP One app to specifically request parole, the administration has also created numerous programs to allow migrants to apply for parole from home if they are not eligible for a visa to the United States. So yes, this is the bill Kamala says she wants to sign. But you know, let’s talk about her stupid necklace.
