Jasmine Crockett, the foul-mouthed trash talking Democrat Congresswoman from Texas has dug yet another hole for herself. This time, it’s over her “hot wheels” slam against Gov. Gregg Abbott.

As our readers know, Crockett is in deep kimchi over calling for Tesla and Elon Musk to be ‘taken down,’ and one of those unamused by her ghetto antics is Attorney General Pam Bondi. Well, none of that seems to matter as she keeps digging holes all over the place. 

In this case, she was speaking to a crowd at the Human Rights Campaign Gala. 

Texas’ firebrand lefty Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett poked fun at Lone Star State Gov. Greg Abbott for using a wheelchair — calling him “Governor Hot Wheels” in her latest eyebrow-raising gaffe.

“We in these hot-ass Texas streets, honey,” Crockett, who represents Texas’ 30th Congressional District that includes Dallas, said at the Human Rights Campaign’s 2025 dinner in Los Angeles Saturday.

“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there, Come on now! And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass mess, honey,” she added.

Republican Abbott, 67, has used a wheelchair since 1984, when he was paralyzed after an oak tree fell on him while he was out on a run.

Stop and think about that for a minute. Here she is, at a major Human Rights Campaign event, and she rolls out with this “hot wheels” slam about Governor Greg Abbott. Then again, since the crowd applauded madly, they approved of her message. 

Never mind that. You see, her little show was all in good fun. She wasn’t making a statement about Abbott being in a wheelchair (at about 4:30 in). Nope, it was all about his stance on illegal immigrants for something. 

On Tuesday, Crockett posted on X, formerly Twitter, “I wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition—I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors, deliberately stoking tension and fear among the most vulnerable.

She continued, “Literally, the next line I said was that he was a “Hot A** Mess,” referencing his terrible policies. At no point did I mention or allude to his condition. So, I’m even more appalled that the very people who unequivocally support Trump—a man known for racially insensitive nicknames and mocking those with disabilities—are now outraged.”

When your backpedal has to involve a slam at President Trump, that tells me that she meant what she said, and yes, she intentionally slammed Governor Abbott. 

Here’s the deal with little miss Jasmine Crockett. She’s not poor. She didn’t grow up in a ghetto, and on any other given day, the woman knows how to speak proper English. The woman attended THE most prestigious and expensive private school in St. Louis (Mary Institute), and then went on to a private college.

Tuition for MICDS upper school is $35,000 a year. 

Given that, her gutter trash talk is cosplaying and gaslighting at nuclear political levels, and what’s galling about this is the folks at the Human Rights campaign gala, who are supposed to be champions for all disabled people, were lapping it up. 

Furthermore, for the last few weeks she’s been picking fights with Senator John Fetterman, and has been inciting her followers to “take Elon Musk down.” 

Here’s the thing though, don’t underestimate Jasmine Crockett. She’s very very smart. For some reason she’s chosen this type of role play as her “schtick.” As Hot Air’s David Strom points out, she’s vying for major leadership roles and is playing spicy, nasty, gutter trash to do so. 

Pay attention to what she says…and what she DOESN’T say. Pay attention to her votes, and whom she supports…or doesn’t. 

The fact is, she did take a swipe at Gregg Abbott, and no matter her backpedal, she definitely meant her “hot wheels” comment.
