The explosion of Trans as identity, plus an endless list of sexual orientations, is not just slowing, but reversing. Is it a hiccup, statistical noise, or a sustainable trend?
Of the latter, one can hope.
Eric Kaufmann, professor at the U.K.’s University of Buckingham and director of the new Centre for Heterodox Social Science, analyzed data from several large-scale, high-quality youth surveys and notes a decided shift in American teens and young adults moving away from identifying as either trans or queer.
His full report, entitled “The Decline of Trans and Queer Identity among Young Americans,” documents how the number of young people once identifying as trans or non-binary nearly halved across most data sets over the last two years. In his highly viral X posts, Kaufmann stated, “trans identification is in free fall among the young.” His report notes, “In these cases, we see a ‘rise and fall’ pattern of numbers returning to pre-surge baselines.” In other words, this nascent re-establishment of a pre-trans craze equilibrium could be the earliest empirical grave marker of the trans mind virus.
2/ Non-conforming sexual identity (queer, questioning, etc) is also in sharp decline.

We shouldn’t be surprised by this trend. Despite the ridiculously outsized influence of the professional LGBTQ+ “community” in much of Western Civ’s institutions, one can’t start harming people’s children and not be noticed. Five years ago Abigail Shrier’s book “Irreversible Damage” was published, noting the rising alarm at the explosion of minor girls suddenly wanting to be boys. While the rise of gay rights and the acceptance of gay/lesbian people in society had been going on for decades — indeed, the first Gay-Straight Alliance clubs on high school campuses were formed in the 1970s — the “born in the wrong body” claim, especially for females, was so rare there was no clinical literature on trans-identifying girls prior to 2012. And it was so rare among boys that there were no pediatric gender clinics until 2007. Today these clinics number about 300. The number of children receiving sex-change interventions between 2019 and 2023 alone numbers just under 14,000.
From January 2019 to December 2023, 13,994 minor patients received gender-transition treatments, with 5,747 undergoing sex-change surgeries and 8,579 getting hormones and puberty blockers, according to Do No Harm’s database. A majority of the body-modification procedures were conducted on minors around the age of 15.
These kind of numbers aren’t because society is allowing these kids to finally find their authentic selves. Shrier points out the social contagion in the mix, Helen Joyce points out the political ideology and its power to manipulate.
Even yellow-dog Democrats like Bill Maher can’t ignore the obvious.
Let’s not kid ourselves, though, that the TQ+ wing of the Woke Left are just going to fold their tent and cede ground to biological reality. J.K. Rowling is still getting threats, California refuses to keep boys out of girls’ locker rooms or males out of female prisons. Indeed, in California, the leading legislative pervert, Scott Weiner, is going to primary Nancy Pelosi.
And while some Gen Z’s are shedding the Trans/Queer/Questioning cloak they donned to be accepted during high school and college, there is still relentless, top-down cultural pressure to conform to every tenet of the TQ+ ideology. From “Pride” month(s) to cartoon shows aimed at grade schoolers, they aren’t going to go quietly off stage.
Keep your kids off social media, vet their teachers (or home school), take nothing for granted and tell the Queer Mafia to take a hike. Too many kids have been permanently mutilated. It has to stop now.

Fads come and go. The only sad part is the number of confused young people that were permanently disfigured at the encouragement of the adults that should have been telling them no and at the hands doctors that should have known better.
