Yesterday, we saw a press conference with Bill Melugin of Fox News slow-rolling questions to Hakeem Jeffries. Melugin was not aggressive. The questions were deceptively slow, easy-going and deadly. Jeffries definitely thought he was being ever-so clever. He was NOT. He showed why he IS the face of the Democrat Party.

Before we look at this slow-motion explosive video, let’s talk about Hakeem’s political career for a minute. Jeffries oozes the charm of a corporate lawyer, which he was in his prior life. He then became a Brooklyn Assemblyman before being elected to the United States House of Representatives. Jeffries was elected in November 2012.He was sworn in to the House in January of 2013. Remember those dates.

He was elected to the House and immediately was taken under Nancy Pelosi’s wing and mentored. The old-guard of the Dem Party has looked after Jeffries from jump. Politico from November 2022:

Jeffries, the fifth-ranking House Democrat who aspires to be the first-ranking House Democrat in the next Congress, was picking up heightened chatter from colleagues about California Rep. Adam Schiff’s outreach expressing his own interest in the top caucus job.

The 52-year-old Jeffries was concerned enough that he offered to fly to South Carolina to seek the counsel of the 82-year-old Clyburn. The younger lawmaker wanted to gently make sure his elder in the Congressional Black Caucus knew of Schiff’s quiet campaign — and to even more gently warn Clyburn about the risk of splitting votes between them and opening a path for the ambitious Californian.

Jeffries need not have been alarmed.

“There’s nothing I would ever do to impede the progress of our up-and-coming young Democrats and I see him as an up-and-coming young Democrat,” Clyburn said in an interview about Jeffries. “He knows that, I didn’t have to tell him that — but I did.”

Jeffries knows how to network. Also, the Democrat Party and their media wing always protect their own.

NOBODY EVER TALKS ABOUT WHAT A GENIUS HAKEEM JEFFRIES IS. That’s because he is not. Maybe smarter than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett, who just lost her primary. Pelosi and Jeffries are not smart but they do have strong survival instincts.

Remember that Hakeem Jeffries began running for the House of Representatives in 2011 when Barack Obama was in office and Nancy Pelosi was defending his bombings. Hakeem is the Walmart Obama. That led to Bill Melugin getting Jeffries with this:

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said on Tuesday that he didn’t understand a reporter’s question comparing President Donald Trump’s recent military action in Iran with former President Barack Obama’s military action in Libya in 2011.

Jeffries took the question from Fox News congressional correspondent Bill Melugin, who referenced 2011 comments from then House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). At the time, Pelosi had insisted that Obama did not need prior authorization from Congress to strike Libya, nor did he need authorization to continue military action there.

“House Democrats say Trump needs that approval to bomb Iran,” Melugin said. “What’s the difference?”

“Well, obviously, Libya and the circumstances connected to that were very different than the circumstance that we face in Iran right now,” Jeffries said, adding, “I mean, I don’t even understand the genesis or basis of that question, not suggesting you’re asking it in bad faith.”

“Libya went on for seven months,” Melugin pointed out.

“But I’ve said — as I’ve indicated — first of all, I was not in Congress at the time, so we’re dealing with what we’re dealing with right now, which is a catastrophic endless war as Donald Trump has characterized it,” Jeffries claimed despite the fact that the current operation was just over 72 hours old and Trump’s initial prediction was that the mission could be accomplished in a matter of weeks.

What???? He was not in Congress at the time? Was he alive and breathing? Did he have a sim card inserted?

You know this Hakeem Jeffries stuff doesn’t work because the normies are on to these tricks. We need a few more fearless reporters like Bill Melugin and a few less like Jennifer Griffin.
