Tonight’s Presidential debate, hosted by Fox Business and the Wall Street Journal kicked off with 4 candidates on stage for the Undercard debate. The reaction was swift and immediate.
These questioners are … not like the CNBC questioners.

What? Real questions?? #GOPDebate @FoxBusiness

Yes, that’s correct. The candidates were asked REAL questions and detailed answers were given. Compared to the three previous debates (four if you include the Dem debate), its quite understandable that viewers were wondering A. if we were in an alternate universe, or B. If they’d tuned into the wrong channel. However, not to worry, all viewers were in the right place.
The topics covered included the federal reserve, income taxes, the VA, some foreign policy, cyber wars against China, spending cuts vs tax cuts, flat tax, fair tax, and more.
So how did it end up for them? Well, Rick Santorum gave a pretty decent showing, however, his debate time was limited. He did get a few zingers in, got a few people laughing, discussed the many problems with the Fed, brought up his previous failed campaigns, and expressed his concern about the continued breakdown of the family. Then there was this moment about halfway through when explaining why the Democrats win. Watch if you dare…

Yes, Rick. Please don’t do that again.
Governor Jindal and Mike Huckabee – Tie. Both were very passionate about the issues they care about, passionate about defending their records, sniped at each other about who cut how much in state and federal spending, and providing references to key foreign policy issues. Interestingly Jindal’s defense of his spending cuts over Huckabee’s has basis in the truth.
Bobby Jindal's claim that he's the only governor running who cut spending is true: https://t.co/KgG5t7oICT #GOPDebate

For all that Christie was a surprise delegate to the kiddie table, he stayed strong throughout the entire night. He consistently reminded the candidates and viewers that the true adversary they are facing is Hillary Clinton.

Christie received major applause for his defense of our men and women in law enforcement as he castigated the Democrat party (and by inference the Administration) for turning their backs on those who serve us here at home.
As President, I will always have law enforcement's back. #GOPDebatehttps://t.co/lv1BncJrvn

Even when Jindal decided to turn his sights to Christie since the sniping with Huckabee didn’t seem to work, and took several swipes at Christie’s record as Governor.
Jindal carries on, saying Christie “caved in” on ObamaCare and expanded food stamps. “Do we want to grow government, or grow the American economy?”
“Chris, I’ll give you a ribbon for participation and a juice box” but says in the real world it’s about execution,” he said, before saying he wants to fire everyone in DC.
Unfortunately Jindal’s attacks seemed to fizzle before they made an impact. Perhaps it was Jindal’s tone, perhaps it was his timing. Who knows, but he seemed to have an off night for sure.
All in all, Christie was the clear winner of tonight’s debate. He stayed on message on every topic that was brought up, continually focused on the real adversary (Hillary Clinton), pointed out the Democrats many failings, and stayed positive the entire time.
