Many people (points to self) question whether we will ever have a woman (biological, of course) President. We don’t want a strident hag (H. Clinton) or a word salad cow (K. Harris). We want a smart, competent and tough woman like Margaret Thatcher, who could go toe to toe with any man. If, please God, she could be the Queen of the Eye Roll like Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni, that would be extra, extra.

Once President Donald Trump bailed out of the G7 Summit, Georgia Meloni was the only interesting World Leader (???) left in Calgary. The rest are feckless men without chests like Mark Carney of Canada, Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom, and Emmanuel Macron of France. There are a couple more leaders, but they are nobodies.

Well then, boos, why are we singing the praises of Georgia Meloni? From the New York Post:

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was busted giving an epic eye roll at the G7 summit — setting social media alight with her less-than-subtle reaction.

Meloni was caught scoffing as French President Emmanuel Macron whispered something into her ear at a roundtable meeting alongside other world leaders in Alberta, Canada, on Monday.

A clip of the moment shows Meloni leaning in as Macron shields his mouth and mutters away.

Moments later, she was caught on camera dramatically rolling her eyes in reply before jerking away.

It wasn’t immediately clear what prompted the reaction — but social media users were quick to speculate.
“The G7 is off to such a good start. Meloni is awesome, she can’t hide her [disdain] for the globalist elite,” one person wrote on X.

This article is correct. It is barely disguised disdain. Whoever does the social media account for the New York Post’s YouTube channel cannot read body language. In this case, I don’t see any friendliness. I see a woman stealing herself to follow protocol. There is not a skosh of friendliness.

Miranda Devine gets it:

Prime Minister Meloni is soooo Italian, and I mean that in the best of ways. She doesn’t hide what she feels neither good or ill. She lets it roll right across her face. Another great thing about Meloni is that she is a Mom so her B.S. detector is well-developed. She can smell it strongly on Macron.

Her daughter is killer cute. All of this proves that we don’t need Frigidaire Queens or Childless Cat Ladies. We need competent, calm and polished. Pro-life and anti-war. All else is negotiable.

Is Meloni Pro-life? From Zenit:

GOOD NEWS The Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni Photo: Governo. It Giorgia Meloni wins pro-life law in Italy: pro-life groups will be present in abortion clinics The “rooms of life” have been approved, which would be part of the hospital managed by pro-life groups who are allowed to be inside abortion hospitals to assist and inform pregnant women. JUNIO 18, 2024 17:17DANTE ALBA, LCGOOD NEWS WhatsAppMessengerFacebookTwitterShare Share this Entry (ZENIT News / Rome, 06.18.2024).- The deputy Lorenzo Malagola presented an amendment to article 194 of the Italian law that seeks to make full use of this law “making use, without new or greater burdens on public finances, of the participation of third sector entities that have qualified experience in supporting maternity”. The “rooms of life” have been approved, which would be part of the hospital managed by pro-life groups who are allowed to be inside the abortion hospitals to assist and inform pregnant women. Article 1 of Law 194/78 states that “the State guarantees the right to conscious and responsible procreation, recognizes the social value of motherhood and protects human life from its origin (…) The State, the regions and local authorities, within the scope of their functions and competencies, promote and develop social and health services, as well as other initiatives necessary to prevent that abortion be used for the purpose of limiting births.” The Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, stated that what this amendment to the constitution seeks is that, following her principle, women who are about to have an abortion can be provided with help to make a freer and more informed decision, assisting them in a concrete way to help them make the best decision. The amendment has been taken as an attack by pro-abortion groups, who point out that it is yet another “interference of pro-life associations in the secular offices responsible for supporting women in their decisions”. Moreover, the Meloni government had already allowed doctors who, for reasons of conscience, believe that it is not appropriate to perform abortion to deny it to those who request it, who make up 63.4% of doctors in Italy, 43% of doctors in Emilia Romagna and 85% in Sicily. They disagree with the practice that ends a human life. The rooms of life seek to help by various means such as allowing the mother to listen to the baby’s heartbeat and above all to support and listen to pregnant women who need it in the context of a more general plan of help during and after pregnancy to women who live that moment with difficulties and who might consider the choice of interrupting the pregnancy, or who feel obliged to resort to it for lack of resources.

All of this and Meloni has an epic eye roll. Sold.

Maybe we can get Vance and her to team up like Ronnie and Maggie? Dominate the world for 8 years or so after Trump retires from the Oval Office?
