Just wanted to take a quick break from blogging to give a personal update. Remember last year when my sister was born?
That’s Francesca as a newborn. I gave you some more pictures when she was around two months:
Now, she’s ten months old. By now she’s a master at crawling and has actually taken her first steps! She can walk from one person’s arms into another’s. How far usually depends on her own confidence. Once she realizes that she’s walking she usually gets nervous and lands on her bottom. She also said her first word a while back, which was (believe it or not) “UH-OH!”. She’s progressed now to also saying “Dada”, “Mama”, “Hi”, “Bye”, and “Yay”. She’s got the most adorable little personality ever. Anyways, here’s a new picture of me and my sister. 🙂
Rob F says: Awwwwww! We males generally aren’t interested in baby photos until we’ve had kids of our own (or in my case, my stepdaughter from a previous marriage having a son of her own).
Then babies suddenly change from being vaguely cute things that look a bit like small versions of Winston Churchill but without the cigar, into real people who you you look forward to watching grow into adults.
She’s gorgeous. Hey, she didn’t say her first words while watching an Obama speech, did she? Just a thought but if she did, then that’s probably a good sign.
