Alternate title: Are Mika and Joe colluding with the Democrats to make a case for the 25th Amendment removal of Trump for being crazy?
Answers to both questions: Who knows?! Now for a question we can answer. Does Donald Trump play rough? Yes!
MSNBC Morning Joe hosts, Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, are the latest public figures to be in a ridiculous dustup with the President of the United States of America. How it all started is anybody’s guess, but the firestorm really took off when Trump tweeted this:
I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 29, 2017
…to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!

Then Joe and Mika made the claim that they had been pressured to apologize to Trump for their negative coverage (Mika called Trump a “schmuck” among other regular unsavory coverage). Supposedly if they kissed his ring, he would tell the National Enquirer to spike a negative, but true, article about them.
When Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough reacted to President Trump‘s tweets on Friday, they alleged that they once received “blackmail” from the White House about how they better change their coverage, or they’ll face a negative piece from the National Enquirer.
“We got a call that, ‘Hey, the National Enquirer is going to run a negative story against you guys,’” said Scarborough. “And they said, ‘If you call the president up, and you apologize for your coverage, then he will pick up the phone and basically spike this story.”
Then according to anonymous sources, Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law told Joe to apologize to Trump. Joe replied that he had texts to prove this allegation. Too bad he can’t prove it. MSNBC is not going to release this proof, for some reason. In response, Trump tweeted this:
Watched low rated @Morning_Joe for first time in long time. FAKE NEWS. He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no! Bad show
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 30, 2017
It could be read, and the Left wants us to think, that Trump is acknowledging he has power over the National Enquirer, and his buddy David Pecker (remember this hashtag: #TrumpLovesPecker). But it could just as easily be read as Trump saying he’s not about to do anything nice for Joe. The sentiment that comes through from both tweets is that people are always asking Trump for things, that he may or may not have the power to do, but that he says No!
Here are Joe and Mika bashing Trump back in March saying he needed psychiatric help:
To be fair Trump has cultivated a culture where he might like for people to think he has the power to do things like command what newspapers print, but as we are subject to the constant drumbeat of the Left telling us he’s a liar, how can we say with any certainty that he could dictate what goes on the front page of the National Enquirer? Besides, Mika and Joe’s romance rates right up there with the best of the Enquirer’s regular fare of material. It was bound to be seen at some point.
Watch this for more scathing attacks on Trump:
Now what is really interesting about this incident is that it is driving Joe and Mika to expand on their attacks calling Trump crazy. They are questioning his mental health.
US TV hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough have questioned the mental state of the president, describing him as “thin-skinned” and saying that his “fragile, childlike, impetuous temper” is deeply troubling to America.
After Trump declined to say he threatened Joe and Mika with a bad Enquirer article, Joe had this to tweet:
Yet another lie. I have texts from your top aides and phone records. Also, those records show I haven't spoken with you in many months. https://t.co/TZWiElo6Gs
— Joe Scarborough (@JoeNBC) June 30, 2017
Why do you keep lying about things that are so easily disproven? What is wrong with you? https://t.co/aAoUj5HYZS
— Joe Scarborough (@JoeNBC) June 30, 2017
Except that Joe and MSNBC are not going to easily disprove it. They aren’t releasing any proof, at least not yet.
MSNBC says they are not planning right now to release the convos btwn Joe and WH officials as proof https://t.co/2ggEKDMMVp

This latest Twitter war is convenient considering the Democrats latest assault against Trump. Two dozen Democrats are behind Jamie Raskin’s (D-Md) proposal to use the 25th Amendment to remove Trump. Raskin would have to prove the president is unfit to serve in the Oval Office.
The #OCPCAct has 23 cosponsors now with more to come. Presidential incapacity is a serious issue of constitutional dimension. #25thAmendment pic.twitter.com/Bo7n2kiDmH
— Rep. Jamie Raskin (@RepRaskin) June 30, 2017
Raskin’s credibility is called into question here. Perhaps his own sanity should be investigated.
But Trump does not have a mental incapacity. He is just a jackass. Remember this (he even gave them a warning!):
Some day, when things calm down, I'll tell the real story of @JoeNBC and his very insecure long-time girlfriend, @morningmika. Two clowns!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 22, 2016
The Democrats are truly baffled by this because they are only used to having jackasses on their own side of the aisle. Normally Republicans appear to be spineless jellyfish, so they are quite perplexed. Second, the way Trump does things is so far removed from anything they’ve ever seen, they rightly would think his straightforward “hit ‘em where it hurts” approach is the most outlandish action imaginable. That it works in its brutish simplicity is just too much for them to get their heads around. They still haven’t learned that bit by bit their rules are being replaced by Trump rules. Sorry, Not Sorry.
