California is a failed state with good weather. Its vainglorious Governor has done little but run for President during his two terms and it seems that Democrats have moved the needle in Gavin’s direction.

Support for California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) as the 2028 Democratic presidential nominee is surging, according to a new poll.

An Emerson College Polling survey released on Friday showed 25 percent of Democratic primary voters saying they would support Newsom as the nominee, a jump from the 12 percent he received in a similar poll conducted in June.

Let’s consider a moment that the next two potential nominees are Pete Buttigieg and Kamala Harris and understand that in such a pool of mind-numbing talent, what an achievement it is for the Lizard Princeling to “surge” in the polls. Heh.

It may have nothing to do with, you know, Steff McKee’s … oh … Gavin Newsom’s popping up on every newscast and having trolling minions flood social media to make name recognition his thing.

Newsom has drawn increasing national attention in a broader redistricting battle playing out across the country. (snip)

Newsom has also taken to mocking Trump on X, writing posts in the same manner and style as the president as he’s sought to become one of the faces of Democrats’ efforts to fight back against the president in his second term.

Newsom … or his minions … have gone full cringe with weird X posts that had many questioning whether the accounts had been hacked. But no, it was really him.

It has nothing to do, you know, with actually doing anything about crime. Lizard Newsom’s newfound interest is because the hoi polloi has put “crime” at the top of their list they are most fed up with. Ironic, too, that Newsom holds a press conference on this CHP thing when he’s been dragging his feet on funding of Prop 36

Following a town hall in Torrance about Proposition 36, FOX 11 exclusively interviewed Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman.

“We will call [Governor Newsom],” Hochman said. “We will send him social media. We will DM him. I’ll say it right to the camera, Governor Newsom if you’re watching, get us this funding. If you want to save lives, get us this funding.”

Last November, almost 70% of Californians voted in favor of Proposition 36, which increases felony charges and sentences for certain drug and theft crimes while creating a treatment-focused court process for certain drug possession crimes.

Prop 36 was the claw-back of some of the worst excesses of the “just say YES to more crime!” Props 47 and 57. Newsom hated P36 so he’s taking to ignoring it as much as possible.

Being governor of California was just about another star-turn in office on his way to the White House. No matter how much California burns, riots, has unconscionable levels of crime, what matters to the Lizard Princeling is how he looks in front of an adoring audience.

When the campaign for 2028 relies on how much a fashion icon you were in high school vs the high school nerd, the rational adults in the room should wonder what is really underneath that very thin skin.

The changeling lizard really shows through.
