Day Of Rage Wasn’t Yesterday, But It Could Be Tomorrow

The Day of Rage called for by Khaled Meshaal in specifically Muslim countries for Friday the Thirteenth didn’t really amount to anything. Egypt, Jordan, Syria and all the rest are not particularly open societies. As a matter of fact, they are so not open that the only protests are state approved.

Speaking of Meshaal, he lives in Qatar. They were NOT having any Day of Rage. Not while their Prime Minister was meeting with our Secretary of State Antony “Winken, Blinken and Nod”. That would be a really bad look on the International Stage. Qatar loves having a thriving tourism and international event industry. Terrorism kills the convention business. Qatar may let the Logistics Officers of Hamas quarter there, but no Day of Rage baby.

Libya, Yemen and Lebanon had Day of Rage protests. According to ABC:

Pro-Palestinian protests broke out across the Middle East and beyond on Friday after a former Hamas leader called on supporters to join in a “Day of Rage” amid the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Large protests have been seen in the capitals of Iraq, where a rally drew tens of thousands of people; Iran; and Yemen, with those gathered holding Palestinian flags. In Iran, some protesters could be seen burning the Israeli and American flags.

Burning American flags is any day of the week over there. I was surprised that Sri Lanka and Japan allowed protests. Not surprised France said, “Non” to protests. The French have had a couple years of protests with the Yellow Vest philosophers and also the retirement age protestors. From ABC again:

In France, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin ordered a ban on pro-Palestinian demonstrations because they were likely to disrupt public order, the Agence France-Presse reported. Hungary and Germany have also banned pro-Palestinian demonstrations.

Here in the USA with our open society, protestors were out en masse, but the Day of Rage didn’t rise to the NBA Championship of destruction and car burnings. That doesn’t mean the words and chants weren’t ugly. The Washington Examiner reported:

Pro-Palestinian protesters in Times Square called for an intifada against Israel.

The protesters are some of the many to take to the streets on Friday, nearly a week after a Hamas surprise attack against Israel ignited another war in the region. The demonstrations also come on the day Hamas called for demonstrations against Israel, though protests have also taken place in New York City for the past several days. Videos of the Friday rally in Times Square showed protesters calling for another intifada, a reference to the uprising of Palestinians against Israel, which involved suicide bombings against Israeli civilians in the past.

Inna Vernikov, a Russian-born Jew and New York City lawmaker, was arrested at Brooklyn College was arrested for carrying a gun. Vernikov was carrying while filming the pro-Palestinian protests.

This was my favorite part of the video:

New York State Sen. Julia Salazar, a self-described Democratic socialist who represents Brooklyn, ripped Vernikov for her alleged actions, writing on X that “There is no excuse, none whatsoever, for an elected official to bring a firearm to a college campus in New York.

The one place I would for sure want a firearm would be a college campus New York, especially during a Day of Rage protest against Israel. Salazar is an idiot and a socialist.

Fortunately, most Americans are like this guy when they heard about the Day of Rage:

Well, today wasn’t “goat nad” day. Today, in the USA, was mostly sunny. But our borders have been wide open for two years with absolutely zero accounting for the cretins crossing it. Diseases, ideologies, religions, nothing. Like this:

The Day of Rage or the Day of Jihad, if you prefer, is coming. Not yesterday, not tomorrow, maybe next year. Our government and military won’t be there to protect us. Stay safe and pray.
