Chuck Schumer is a mean-spirited, oleaginous man. Full stop. There is not “but” or “and”. He thinks that he covers his lies with what he thinks is a charming smile. He is the Senate Minority Leader and the minority leader of people who believe they can convince you in the strong mental acuity of Joe Biden. Schumer still believes that they can convince you to ignore your lying eyes.
Yesterday, Kristen Welker interviewed Chuck U. on Meet the Press. Welker “confronted” Schumer with his own words regarding Dementia Joe. This video is February 13, 2024, it shows the unctuous Senator lying to the press and to the public:
As our Carol pointed out more than 2 years ago, Schumer hates Americans. Lying to us is not a problem for him. So, after Welker played that clip, he flat out lied. From Fox News:
After playing the clip, Welker asked Schumer what he would tell Americans who think they were misled by top Democrats. Schumer reportedly told the president he needed to drop out of the race after the debate.
“We didn’t. Let’s look at President Biden. He’s had an amazing record. The legislation we passed, one of the most significant groups of legislation since Lyndon Johnson’s great society, putting in 235 judges, a record, and he’s a patriot. He’s a great guy, and when he stepped down he did it on his own because he thought it was better, not only for the Democratic Party, for America. We should all salute him. We should all salute him,” Schumer said.
Salute him? The middle finger salute, yes. Schumer is a slimy piece of work. Schumer would have been fine with Biden getting another term. A weak Democrat President works out fine for him, so this does not surprise us:
Dissatisfied with the answer, which arguably rejected the premise of the question outright and merely chronicled Biden’s legislative record, Welker followed up by asking if Schumer still believes Biden could’ve served another term had he stayed in the race and won.
“Well, I’m not going to speculate,” he told Welker, who had notably only asked about his own past claim that Biden’s decline was insidiously partisan propaganda. “As I said, I think his record is a stellar one, and he’ll go down in history as a really outstanding president.”
Not only does Schumer not get it that the public saw Joe’s decline, but he has absolutely no self-awareness of his own mistruths.

First, he doubles down on his lie and then he says Dems must look in the mirror to see what they did wrong. Wait? Wut? With my sincere apologies to Miss Paula Abdul:

That may not be the case. A truly proficient liar must have a near-perfect memory, for lies require accurate recall to keep them straight and to keep new statements consistent with them. As politicians are among the most proficient liars known to Man, it’s very likely that they also possess excellent memories, on average. The Dishonorable Charles Schumer, a habitual liar and a successful politician, is unlikely to be an exception.
