Celebriteez has teh smarts

Check out the utter genius of actor Jamie Foxx on why he’s voting Obama:

Oprah introduced me to him and I just loved how cool the brother is. We need a cool president. But I’m nervous. You never know how it may turn out. I will have a party if he wins, but a quiet party because we’ve got a lot of work to do once he gets in there.

[What did you think about the reaction to Colin Powell supporting Obama?] Please. If that had been someone like me I’d understand because I’m going to always say “I’m voting for the brother!” But Colin Powell? If he had wanted to be down with the brothers he never would’ve been a Republican.

Real wisdom and intellect in that statement, huh?

I think this is a great example of why so many people wish that celebrities would keep their ignorant mouths shut about politics when they clearly have so feeble an understanding. Jamie Foxx wants a “cool” President? In order to be “down with the brothers” black people can only affiliate with one party?

You can’t make up statements this idiotic. And there’s no critique I can offer that makes him look stupider than he already does. All he had to do was open his ignorant mouth, and BOOM. A perfect example of why arrogant celebrities need to shut up.

    “I’m voting for the brother.”

    No blatant racist motivation, there.

Jamie Foxx = Hollyweirdo #472 I have added to my “never watch” list.

Actually no, I think they should speak up more and louder. It’s annoying, but I think them sounding so dumb is good…helps us.

Although, given the fact that we (and by we I mean Obama’s glassy eyed cult army and the people who are too stupid to know any better) are quite possibly about make someone who wouldn’t be granted security clearance the freakin’ president…actually I don’t have anything witty to follow that up with. I’m still flabbergasted at the whole thing.

Maybe us Americans deserve the leadership we’re dumb enough to accept. I’ve really lost my faith in people this year.

I think I’ve heard just about enough from blacks weighing in on this year’s presidential contest. Polls indicate that around 93% of the black vote will go to Obama, which is even higher than the usual Democrat-take in other presidential elections. Few if any of these people are able to give a reason for that, other than him being a Democrat (champion of the “working man” and all), and him being a “brutha”…whatever that is. Whatever happened to the brotherhood of man, not just black people?

Perhaps because of the legacies of slavery and segregation, black people seem more focused on racial issues than do other minorities. That’s too bad, because the American Indians were treated far worse…and the Chinese were only one notch above slavery themselves when they first came over here.

I wish I could find every one of these black Obama voters, shake him by the shoulders, and shout, “Not everything is about race, you idiot! Get over it! Racism is nowhere near your biggest problem today! Do you know anything at all of the REAL issues facing today’s black community? Do you have any idea of how Obama intends to address them? Thought not.”
