Cardi B, a rapper who was born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, has spoken out in favor of the protesters/looters in Minneapolis. Miss Almánzar has tweeted and posted a YouTube video of her support for the lawlessness in Minnesota.
Born in Manhattan, the 27 year old Cardi B is very successful. A former exotic dancer, her debut single, Bodak Yellow (NSFW), has nearly 900,000,000 clicks on YouTube. I don’t find this particular rap oeuvre enjoyable, but it is commercially viable. I am more appreciative of Missy Elliott. Victory Girls’ own Lisa has written about Cardi B and her spat with (ugh) Tomi Lahren.
As an American, Cardi B is angry and hurt by the murder of Mr. Floyd and so she took to Twitter to express her, um, deep thoughts:
They looting in Minnesota and as much as I don’t like this type of violence it is what it is .Too much peaceful marches, too much trending hashtags and NO SOLUTIONS! The people are left with NO CHOICE . pic.twitter.com/IToSr08yBG

Miss Almánzar also made a video to express her philosophical view of looting:
Lord, help me Sweet Baby Jesus! Police brutality has been going on since before Cardi B was born. The year 1992. Instagram was founded in 2010. What a knowledge of ancient history this woman has! She says that only cops and rednecks vote in elections. What a political scientist she is! Her POV is an important part of this national conversation.
Yes, the above should be read with dripping sarcasm. Miss B is an entrepreneur, so I am going to explain this to her in terms she should understand:
Dear Cardi B:
Your support for the looters is breathtakingly stupid. The majority of businesses being destroyed and looted are most likely minority owned. You can read the list of damaged businesses from Bring Me The Minnesota News. J-Klips Barber Shop had property damage. How do you think the owner feels? She/He mostly like built this business from nothing. This year the owner had to battle Covid-19 and looting. Will the business survive? Twin Lake Dental had fire and property damage. Will this dental practice be able to survive? Will an under-served neighborhood be able to get dental care? You are proud of your teeth. Do you realize how much good dental health is important to overall health? All of the businesses listed represented someone’s dream. How does destroying someone else’s dream get justice for George Floyd?
And, speaking of the martyr, George Floyd, his family does not believe he would want the violent protests and looting. The Patch.com reported:
George Floyd’s girlfriend says that the riots and looting that took place in Minneapolis on Wednesday night are not what her late boyfriend would have wanted.
“I am heartbroken,” Courteney Ross told the Star Tribune. “Waking up this morning to see Minneapolis on fire would be something that would devastate Floyd.”
“He loved the city,” Ross said, adding that Floyd came to Minneapolis from Houston and stayed “for the people and the opportunities.”
“Floyd was a gentle giant,” Ross said. “He was about love and about peace.”
And, finally, USA Today has reported that local authorities do not recognize many of the looters. That means that they were mostly liked brought in from outside to destroy the community. How would you feel if people were brought in from outside to destroy your neighborhood?
Cardi B, you are young and very successful. You have time to learn and grow. Because of the evil actions of bad cops, George Floyd doesn’t have that opportunity.
Sincerely,
A well-wishing friend
Back to you, dear reader. Between us, I wish the heck celebutantes would shut the heck up. The rest of us should pray for peace for George Floyd, his family, and his community. There might be “too much peaceful marches” for Cardi B, but not for me.

“As an American, Cardi B is angry and hurt by the murder of Mr. Floyd and so she took to Twitter to express her, um, deep thoughts:”.. Sorry, I’ll disagree with that statement. This highly successful skank feels NOTHING as an American, only as a thug.
On a not unrelated note, the only reason that she is so successful is because of the “thug culture” and promotion of the worst possible aspects as being true “black culture” (all part of the effort by the left to keep blacks and other minorities subservient and dependent on the government, or to, as it’s been said before “keep them on the plantation”
“She says that only cops and rednecks vote in elections.”.. Thing is, she’s actually stupid enough to believe this… never mind that if it was actually true, we wouldn’t have a single pandering demonrat in government!
Too much peaceful marches, too much trending hashtags and NO SOLUTIONS! The people are left with NO CHOICE .
Now, I think the woman is an idiot. I think her take on this (or most things, including music) is not well thought out, to say the least.
However, yes, there are way too many “hashtags” and slogans and pics of cards held up by celebrities on Twitter. And so very often a lot of virtue preening and posturing. And very seldom actual solutions.
Of course, being an idiot, she doesn’t realize that riots that burn down local businesses are NOT ‘solutions’.
“Floyd was a gentle giant,”
You might want to avoid that phrase. It has been used once too often for someone who was definitely not gentle.
When justice changes from being an individual event to a team sport, rationalization of bad behavior for the ‘righteous reasons’ just explodes (figuratively & literally).
I have a cousin who justifies the damage to those businesses as “They were insured.”
There’s a reason I avoid most of my family.
I hear that Cameron. I’m betting that a number of my dumbass siblings were at the riots in Denver last night..
Cameron and Scott, you must know at least one person who comments on various Washington Post columns. I saw the same thing today.
As the daughter of an insurance agent, my thought was how much the rates would increase.
Probably not at all, as most insurance policies exclude damages from “civil unrest”…\
So again, the thugs claiming that “they gots insurance” is even more bullshit..
