Usaamah Rahim, the Boston terror suspect who was shot dead by police after brandishing a knife at them, did not originally seek to kill police officers.

He wanted to behead conservative blogger Pamela Geller. According to an FBI affidavit filed in federal court in Boston, the deceased would-be terror killer originally wanted to behead Geller, but said, “I can’t wait that long,” and instead turned his jihadi wrath against the “boys in blue.”

How did the media react to this news? Why, they blamed Pamela Geller, of course.

On CNN’s “ErinBurnett Out Front,” Burnett sniped at Geller, asking her if she “relished” being targeted by Islamic terrorists.

Geller stood firm.

“Well, they targeted me for violating Sharia blasphemy laws. They mean to kill everyone who doesn’t do their bidding and abide by their law voluntarily. This is a showdown for American freedom. Will we stand against this savagery or bow down to them and silence ourselves? It won’t end with me, no matter what happens to me or the cops. This is just the beginning. The one thing that’s being ignored that came out of Garland, Texas, is that ISIS is here. Islamic terrorism is here. now. Will the media realize what’s at stake and that their heads are next? Or will they continue to target me because they hate my message of freedom? That’s the question.”

The insufferable liberal attorney Tamara Holder added her two bits on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the protestors who keep flogging the campaign #BlackLivesMatter decided to hold a rally for the dead Rahim. Who cares if he was a jihadi bent on murder and mayhem? Because — #BlackLivesMatter!

Of course! It’s that double whammy of being both black and Muslim! Not that the departed chose to try to decapitate a police officer or anything.

And then they believe Rahim’s brother who made up a flagrant lie about the dead terrorist being shot in the back, and, while dying, uttering the words, “I can’t breathe!” Yes! He went there!

So let me get this straight. Pamela Geller, a woman who escaped a gruesome death at the hands of a deranged zealot, secretly enjoys being a target. Police officers attacked by a knife-wielding terrorist killed him because he was Muslim and black — and they’re the Bad Guys. And while he’s lunging forward at the police with a knife said terrorist gets shot in the back.

How anyone with a modicum of common sense can see any logic here is beyond me. Someone please pour me a glass of wine.
