Bluesky Melts Down After J.D. Vance Joins And Asks About SCOTUS Transgender Decision

J.D. Vance can troll with the best of them. In this case, it involves the social media platform, Bluesky. Earlier today, after the fabulous Supreme Court decision regarding transgenders that Toni wrote about here, JD Vance opened an account on Bluesky.

Before I get into the details of what Vance posted, and Bluesky’s reaction, let’s go back to the case decided by SCOTUS today. It involves what the liberals define as “gender affirming care.” Which they’ve been pushing hard, at the cost of children’s physical and mental well-being.

Chloe Cole knows full-well the ramifications of having gender transition pushed whether she was truly transgender or not. As she writes, she was TWELVE and starting to experience when she finally started talking about her confusion.

They dug in deep, and led me to make decisions that I never should have been allowed to make.

When I first started down this road, doctors and nurses told me I could go back.

I believed them when they put me on puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.

And, when she realized her life had been ruined, and she wasn’t actually transgender after all, her doctors abandoned her.

Is that CARE by any medical definition? No. Which is why so many other countries have completely backed away from gender “care” and instead are working to provide therapy to young kids instead of throwing life-altering medicines and surgical mutilations at them.

Which brings me back to Bluesky. That social media platform was started as an alternative to X and Truth Social. It is a place where Democrats and liberals go to toot their own horns and yack amongst themselves.

Except it’s not been working out so well, as Mark Cuban lamented the other day.

Billionaire Mark Cuban, who has been an active Bluesky user and supporter for several months now, said this week he thinks the social media platform has gotten “ruder and more hateful.” Its liberal-heavy user base makes it challenging to raise questions or have debates with other users, even if their political ideologies align, he said.

When he first joined the platform, he famously posted: “Hello Less Hateful World.”

But Cuban has changed his tune. In a series of posts this week, Cuban argued Bluesky has become too much of an echo chamber, and is sending more users back to X.

“Engagement went from great convos on many topics, to agree with me or you are a nazi fascist,” Cuban wrote. “We are forcing posts to X.

And… today, Bluesky proved Cuban correct. Here’s part of what JD Vance posted.

“[Thomas] argues that many of our so-called ‘experts’ have used bad arguments and substandard science to push experimental therapies on our youth,” Vance said. “I might add that many of those scientists are receiving substantial resources from big pharma to push these medicines on kids. What do you think?”

Right on cue, Bluesky was triggered. And it wasn’t pretty. Fred Guttenberg called Vance a “sewer dwelling d***he and ordered him back to sewer-dwelling X. Others called for Vance to be cyber-bullied off the platform, and Bluesky canned his account for a period of time.

Algorithm seems nice.

This actually is a place for intelligent discourse. But no one is interested in the verbal diarrhea of a morally bankrupt bootlicking eyeliner-wearing maga mouthpiece…no offense to you personally.

In fact, those on Bluesky were having quite the day. They don’t like SCOTUS ruling one bit.

Keep in mind, many of the folks on Bluesky have been the ones shrieking about “No Kings” for the last two weeks, clutching all the pearls over Israel going after Iran, and championing illegals over American citizens.

So, to have JD Vance, who made it very clear that there are only TWO genders, join Bluesky was an Oscar-worthy troll. The reactions to his very legitimate questions proved Mark Cuban right.

Bluesky is the epitome of toxic waste. And J.D. Vance knows how to troll with the best of them.
