As I told you this morning, Joe Biden went on Late Night with Seth Meyers to show us that Joe is not old, but hip and filled with vim and vigor. He was also talking up a ceasefire in time for Ramadan. He says Israel is all in, but has anyone told Hamas? He also says that Saudi Arabia is ready to recognize Israel. Talk about gamechangers, but has anyone told Saudi Arabia?

If you have followed Hamas and Palestine for 30 seconds, you know that they changes the parameters of a deal as often as camels spit. Saudi Arabia only does what is in her interest at that moment. The poor souls who run the Seth Meyers show have not studied recent geopolitics and certainly not history. The scripted banter between Meyers, comedienne Amy Poehler, and Dark Brandon was mildly amusing, but nothing worth a laugh.

As usual, Joe bragged and wrote checks that are, um, no good. Joe is a Zionist as long as they do what he wants. From Mediaite:

There is a path forward, with difficulty. Here’s the path forward. Look, first of all, there are– the hostages being held must be released and if we’ve got at least in principle an agreement, there will be a ceasefire while that takes place. Ramadan’s coming up and there’s been an agreement by the Israelis that they would not engage in activities during Ramadan as well in order to give us time to get all the hostages out. That gives us time to begin to move in directions that a lot of Arab countries are prepared to move in. For example, Saudi Arabia’s ready to recognize Israel. Jordan, Egypt, and six other states have been working with Qatar.

The president continued, “You need not be a Jew to be a Zionist. I’m a Zionist. Where there’s no Israel, there’s not a Jew in the world who’ll be safe. But here’s the deal, they also have to make up– take advantage of an opportunity to have peace and security for Israelis and Palestinians who are being used as pawns by Hamas.”

His message is to be good little Jews.

Making jokes about Trump’s age and Taylor Swift being a psyop are not helpful.

Israel did not attack anyone on October 7, 2023. Kfir Bibas has been held since then with his mother and brother. If Hamas were not animals, he would never have been taken hostage. All of the 133 hostages should be released.

He must have forgotten a 1 year old baby is in captive for 144 days.

Biden can humble brag about Hamas forever. Hamas should release Kfir and his family right now as a show of good faith. But, that still doesn’t mean we can believe anything Joe says.
