Joe Biden couldn’t even wait for the formality of sentencing.
The corrupt old asshole, who lied through his teeth, and had his White House staff lie for him, announced that he was pardoning his son Hunter Biden late Sunday evening. And not just for the gun conviction in Delaware, or the tax convictions in California. Nope! Joe Biden gave Hunter a blanket pardon that covered TEN YEARS.
Joe Biden didn’t just pardon Hunter for the gun crimes for which he was convicted. He pardoned Hunter for *EVERY SINGLE FEDERAL CRIME HE COMMITTED* over the last decade—including several years during which Joe Biden was VP and the entirety of Joe Biden’s presidency. pic.twitter.com/wjvwXTL8r6

Those potential FARA charges that could have been brought against Hunter? POOF. He now is legally immune from prosecution for anything he did between 2014 and 2024. ANYTHING.
Now, we all knew this was going to happen. Hunter’s legal team even released an entire document detailing why Hunter should get a pardon from Grandpa Joe on Saturday, and the argument was that Hunter had been unfairly targeted by his own father’s DOJ, and with Donald Trump becoming president again, the charges could pile up.
In a 52-page paper titled “The political prosecutions of Hunter Biden” released Saturday, Hunter Biden’s lawyers criticize the foundation of the investigations into their client, arguing that he was prosecuted for crimes that an ordinary citizen would not have been. Hunter Biden is likely to face further unfair threats when President-elect Donald Trump takes office, the lawyers contend.
“With the election now decided, the threat against Hunter is real,” the report asserts. It cites comments that Trump has made about targeting his opponents, along with remarks from congressional Republicans who for years have investigated Hunter and other Biden family members.
“There is no disputing that Trump has said his enemies list includes Hunter,” the report says. “The prospect that Trump will turn his vengeance on the Special Counsel prosecutors if they fail to take a harder line against Hunter no doubt exerts considerable pressure on them not to let up on Hunter.”
Both cases against Hunter Biden, for gun and tax offenses, were brought by special counsel David Weiss, whose office was staffed by attorneys from the Justice Department. That department will now be overseen by Trump and his attorney general.
Taken as a whole, the document largely rehashes past arguments made by Hunter Biden and his legal team, at times unsuccessfully in court. It includes a lengthy timeline of events since 2017 that the attorneys say demonstrate that federal prosecutors unfairly targeted the son of a prominent politician.
“Here, in one place, is the complete and reprehensible history of the political persecution of Hunter Biden,” Abbe Lowell, one of Hunter’s top attorneys, said in a statement. “This is a seven-year saga propelled by an unrelenting political desire to use a son to hurt his father.”
Or maybe, this was a saga of a family who cashed in “the Big Guy” as their meal ticket, and Joe is making sure that Hunter won’t sell out “Pop” in the end to spare himself prison time? After all, why should Hunter get a blanket pardon that covers a full DECADE – including two full years of Joe Biden’s VICE presidency? Donald Trump wasn’t president then. Why would those years be an issue, hmmmm??
This entire pardon stinks of corruption and rot, but Joe would like the American public to believe that he’s just protecting Hunter from unfair political prosecution – by his own DOJ – and possible retaliation from a future Trump DOJ. That’s what he claimed in his White House statement regarding the pardon. Let’s have a look at what Joe’s writers said, shall we?
Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter. From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted. Without aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form. Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter was treated differently.
Yes, Hunter was treated differently. He was handled with kid gloves and no one was allowed to follow up on leads that should have been pursued, according to the whistleblowers. And so much for Democrats being serious about gun crimes and gun control. If it wasn’t clear that they mean to strip rights from the law-abiding, not curb the law breaking, then it is now.
The charges in his cases came about only after several of my political opponents in Congress instigated them to attack me and oppose my election. Then, a carefully negotiated plea deal, agreed to by the Department of Justice, unraveled in the court room – with a number of my political opponents in Congress taking credit for bringing political pressure on the process. Had the plea deal held, it would have been a fair, reasonable resolution of Hunter’s cases.
Yeah, the plea deal that the judge pointed out was trying to forgive the tax charges in exchange for pleading guilty to the gun charge, which made the DOJ panic and fold like a house of cards. Of course Joe wanted that “sweetheart” deal to hold up! He wanted to be able to claim that “justice had been served” for Hunter, while continuing to prosecute Donald Trump.
No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son – and that is wrong. There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me – and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough.
So, did Hunter break the law or not, Joe? Or is the reason you keep bringing up his addiction and sobriety because you wish to use this as an excuse to pardon him?
For my entire career I have followed a simple principle: just tell the American people the truth. They’ll be fair-minded. Here’s the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice – and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.
How, exactly, did “raw politics” “infect” the charging and prosecution of Hunter, Joe? THIS WAS YOUR DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE WHO BROUGHT THE CHARGES. Hunter was not charged with the most serious of crimes because, as the whistleblowers allege, David Weiss let them go. Hunter also spilled the beans about his tax evasion in his own memoir. Perhaps the “raw politics” is all in Joe’s mushy brained head, because it was his DOJ who broke the norms first.
Biden and his DOJ were worried that Trump would use his DOJ to investigate Hunter Biden's financial crimes, and the reason for this is because Biden and his DOJ decided to prosecute Donald Trump. It was all electioneering, and Biden lost, so he pardoned his son.

And let no one be mistaken. This was no spur of the moment “family discussion” that just happened to occur while the Biden family was gathered in Nantucket for Thanksgiving. This was planned from the second that Hunter Biden tried an Alford plea for his tax felony trial in California, and then just gave up and pled guilty. He knew the pardon was coming, but he had to get the trial over and done BEFORE his father left office. And now, it’s a done deal, and Joe Biden was lying, because he’s a corrupt, venal, and spiteful old man.
President Joe Biden in June 2024: “I'm extremely proud of my son Hunter. He has overcome an addiction. He's one of the brightest, most decent men I know… I am satisfied… I said I'd abide by the jury decision. I will do that & I will not pardon him.” 🤷♂️pic.twitter.com/iLEJ71qg8W

What will the press dare say to him now? He won’t be talking to them. Karine Jean-Pierre, who kept insisting that Joe said he wasn’t going to pardon Hunter, is now left holding that proverbial bag. She’s going to come out as drunk as Kamala Harris on her next trip to the podium, I bet.
And what about the ass-kissing press that insisted that old Joe really meant it?
There are people like this. But Joe Biden was never one of them, and the attempt to pretend otherwise has made fools of an enormous number of people. https://t.co/jic5JEBiav

The reactions from the press will be one of the things off this list:
1) It’s okay because Orange Man Bad.
2) It’s okay because he loves his son.
3) It’s okay because politicians always lie.
In the end, Joe Biden will go down in the history books as an “elderly man with a poor memory,” who pardoned his own son while escaping prosecution for his own law breaking, and smashing all the norms regarding prosecuting his political opponent along the way.
In a nutshell, the Hunter Biden prosecution is why Kash Patel has been nominated to take over the FBI. Joe Biden liked to say that “no one is above the law.” Unless, of course, you are Hunter Biden.

The full statement reads:
“No amount of lies or spin can hide the simple truth that the Justice Department nearly let the President’s son off the hook for multiple felonies. We did our duty, told the truth, and followed the law. Anyone reading the President’s excuses now should remember that Hunter Biden admitted to his tax crimes in federal court, that Hunter Biden’s attorneys have targeted us for our lawful whistleblower disclosures, and that we are suing one of those attorneys for smearing us with false accusations.
“President Biden has the power to put his thumb on the scales of justice for his son, but at least he had to do it with a pardon explicitly for all the world to see rather than his political appointees doing it secretly behind the scenes. Either way it is a sad day for law abiding taxpayers to witness this special privilege for the powerful.”
Despite his pardon, Hunter has no future prospects except as a professional useless person. There are no paintings to sell, no influence to trade on, and no skills that are marketable (being a male whore is not a marketable trade, unless he wishes to start an OnlyFans account). Hunter will stay silent until his father is dead – and THEN he will sell a tell-all book about how Jill was running the White House and he was just trying to help “Pop.”
And if you think Hunter won’t do that, then you don’t know the Bidens.

On the bright side, Hunter can no longer “take the 5th” when questioned in court or the Congress. He’ll have to refuse to testify under oath and will be subject to perjury charges. Unless Trump lets the Biden family off the hook, there may yet be accountability for Biden’s influence peddling.
And because of that, Ashley, her husband and Joe’s brothers are asking Joe “Where’s ours?” Since Hunter can no longer Plead the Fifth, he can be forced to rat out them. There’s a lot names on Hunter’s laptop.
