Long gone are the days when even Democrats pledged to keep abortion Safe, Legal and Rare. Abortion is now promoted through all nine months for any and all reasons — even for a chance at an athletic title.
More than 500 current and former female athletes filed a petition with the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday warning the justices that dismantling abortion access would have a “devastating” effect on women’s sports.
Let’s call this hyperbolic claim from 500 unserious (but athletic!) females for what it is.
Bunk. Balderdash. Bovine excrement.
Women’s sports, as a whole, has many more serious issues than whether or not any particular female athlete gets her uterus scraped because she was less careful about her body during sex than she is about her training diet.
Too harsh? Well, we are talking about killing a unique and innocent human life here. There are a lot of hard decisions surrounding pregnancy, birth and child-raising. However, killing your kid in order to train for a marathon isn’t one of them. It is frivolous, egotistical and, frankly, immoral to do so.
Let’s hear Crissy Perham, an Olympic swimmer, try to make her case here:
I was on scholarship, I was just starting to succeed in my sport, and I didn’t want to take a year off. I decided to have an abortion. I wasn’t ready to be a mom, and having an abortion felt like I was given a second chance at life. I was able to take control of my future and refocus my priorities. I got better in school, I started training really hard, and that summer, I won my first national championship. My life would be drastically different if I had been pregnant and forced to sit that race out, because that race changed the course of my life. It opened up so many opportunities, and a year later, I made the Olympic team.
Killing my baby made me a better student! Abortion Gave Me The Race That Changed MY LIFE!! Whaa whaa, whaa whaa. We are supposed to now stand and applaud such a self-serving rationalization?
Perham has no clue over what her future would have been like if she made a different decision such as one for letting her child live. However, we do know that any, any opportunities for success, athletic or otherwise, were denied to that child. Forever.
And that’s what is so infuriating about this cavalier attitude towards the killing of unborn children. It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. It is child sacrifice on the altar of personal gratification accompanied by the motto, better dead than adopted.
We will note here for the pro-aborts now having hissy fits that we are talking about the vast majority of abortions – those that are done on a healthy unborn child carried by a healthy female for reasons of pure convenience. It is patently dishonest for pro-aborts to wrap these kind of abortions up with the tiny minority of tragic, hard-choice abortions done for actual medical reasons or rape.
And Pedo Joe’s administration can take its “forced pregnancy” mendacity …
abortion providers and advocates argue the 15-week ban should be overturned under precedent set by Roe v. Wade, which recognized a constitutional right to abortion before a fetus is viable, usually around 24 weeks in pregnancy.
… and peddle it to Moloch’s choir. That is NOT what Roe v Wade established. SCOTUS ruled 1) that “right to privacy” in regards to abortion was not absolute 2) that the state had compelling interests in regulating, even banning abortion 3) the court relied on the medical science of the 1970s to establish the 3-trimester framework of Roe v Wade. Prenatal care and the science around unborn children has changed dramatically in the last fifty years.
Maybe these 500 females full of athletic aspirations should take a moment or two to visit a local cemetery and read the headstones. Loads of inscriptions like beloved mother, father, grandparent.
Athlete? Hmmmmm.

I read this and immediately thought of Toni Williams post of a few days ago….Did the aspirations of those gymnasts and their parents demand the sacrifice of the girls’ innocence to Dr. Nasser?? Toni responded to my earlier comment with, “They were children” True, but they had parents…they had been brought up in the “good touch…bad touch” era, yet they sacrificed to attain gymnastic greatnest. Just think….the bulk of those “crying wolf” now have truly achieved greatnest. Gotta make you wonder what was going on…!!!

‘We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal , life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”
Does not mean you have the right to murder and innocents life ! Once a human is created they have the same rights under the Constitution .
YOU made the decision to have sex for your own selfish reasons, Now YOU have the responsibility to protect that child till birth and give it up to loving parents who will do what you cannot or will not do.
