I always thought it ironic when people request in lieu of presents on their birthdays, that donations go to fund abortion on their social media accounts. Planned Parenthood conveniently is listed as a birthday fundraising cause on Facebook.

“Why, yes,” say the logical, morally and intellectually superior liberals. “Honor my birthday by funding the non-birthday of an innocent child”. In honor of my birthday that my mother graciously gave me, I want to raise funds so other kids do not have theirs. Of course, they never quite word it that way. Why would anyone ever contribute to a cause so barbaric? Instead, they word it as a token of virtue and activism for women’s healthcare-the funding of safe and accessible abortion. It isn’t enough to honor someone’s God-given day of birth with funding the snuffing out of innocent lives, however. Alexandria, Virginia Mayor, Justin Wilson, decided to sign an order designating March 10th “Abortion Provider Appreciation Day”.

From the “declaration”, the Mayor asked residents to “celebrate the courage, compassion, and the high-quality care that abortion providers and clinic staff provide.”

Yikes. To say there was backlash is quite the understatement. From the Catholic community:

Violence of every kind must be condemned — and abortion is a direct, violent attack on human life. Proposing a celebration of abortion and an “appreciation day” for those who destroy lives defies comprehension. The City of Alexandria should instead do the opposite. It should celebrate all those who save, protect and care for human life. It should re-direct its focus toward recognizing and supporting both mothers and their children, as so many dedicated and compassionate people in Alexandria do each day.”-Catholic Diocese of Arlington Bishop Michael Burbidge

The comments did not only come from the Catholic community. Mercedes Schlapp posted the whole proclamation:

The City of Alexandria is not the only city making proclamations for “Abortion Provider Appreciation Day”. This is the trend in blue cities nationwide. Perhaps, we should look to what started this whole appreciation for abortion providers.

On March 10, 1993, Dr. David Gunn was murdered by a white supremacist anti-abortion extremist. As a way to honor the life and work of Dr. Gunn and all of the courageous, compassionate people who provide abortion care, March 10 became the National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers (beginning in 1996).”-abortioncarenetwork.org

Of course, this doctor was murdered by a white supremacist, anti-abortion extremist. Now, I am not advocating for white supremacy or violence to be inflicted upon abortion providers as seldom three wrongs make a right. But rarely do abortion activists see that the whole premise behind “safe, legal, accessible, healthcare (ahem-abortion)” was rooted very much in the concept of, you guessed it, white supremacy.

And…

Perhaps the weeding out of the “unceasingly spawning class of human beings who should have never been born at all” was a good thing in the case of Shout Your Abortion’s founder, Amelia Bonow. I mean, can you imagine such a dreadful human being giving birth to an actual child? Yet, here she is, trying to school a young, black boy on why his assumptions on “who should get an abortion” are inaccurate and “uneducated”. She doesn’t come out and say this but her smug responses and expressions say it all. The white chick imposing intellectual superiority upon a young, African American child. If this doesn’t shout liberal Vashon Island elitism, I don’t know what does. Take a look:

She wasn’t reckless for not using a condom, she was exercising a “shortcut” with some schmuck she did not want to be her baby daddy. Much like those of her ilk who choose to shout their abortion, or “bo-bo” as some have lovingly called it, on the SYA pages. And, they’ll do it again. And again. And again. After all, like Amerlia Bonow says, they just take a straw-like apparatus to your uterus and “suck the pregnancy out”. Really, it’s very much like a “crappy dentist appointment”. NBD. Although, I am not seeing any proclamations on behalf of city mayors to hold “Root Canal Providers’ Appreciation Days” but I digress.

But, according to the pro-abort crowd, “pro-life” is “propaganda” and Lordy, “what do we do with all of these babies”? The smart, young boy in this video responds in kind, “put them up for adoption”. Bless him. Yeah. Bonow, you are a total dumbass and it shows. God’s plan is to show the world what horrible ghouls on Earth truly look like by looking at Bonow’s face. But yes, let’s honor those providers who cater to the horrible hags of Shout Your Abortion. After all, a “baby” is not a “person” until he or she is born. At conception, the child is merely a “clump of cells”, right?

Which is why some cities provide “bereavement leave” for abortion, correct?

Just a clump of cells that show up at an inopportune time. And we need to appreciate the medical staff who rids those of these burdens. We also need to provide “bereavement leave” for those who defend abortion as ridding their bodies of a “clump of cells” (don’t dare say the “clump” is a baby). Bereavement is typically defined as the period of sadness and loneliness that we experience from a loss. Typically this loss is the death of a loved one. These children of abortion were never loved if an appointment to rid them of existence is likened to a “crappy dentist appointment”. I’m feeling the inequities coming on. Where is the proclamations for “Podiatrist Appreciation Day”? I’ll be proud to shout the removal of my bunion.
