The father of Tyrone Woods, a CIA contractor and former Navy SEAL that died in the attack on the Benghazi embassy annex in Libya has told Fox News that when he met with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton after the Benghazi attack his son died during, she shook his hand and told him that the U.S. Government would arrest the film maker that caused the death of his son. The film maker that she is referring to is the maker of the You Tube video “The Innocence of Muslims” which is the You Tube video that was blamed by Secretary Clinton, Susan Rice and others within the Obama Administration for causing the attack on the consulate in Benghazi that led to the death of Woods and three other Americans including Ambassador Chris Stevens.
When Clinton’s discussions via email with her family came to light during the recent Benghazi hearings, it became evident that the Secretary was espousing one theory to her family and inner circle, and another to the families of the victims and the public at large. Woods father points out that this contradictory approach calls into question the honesty of the administration with those who are willing to lie their lives on the line for our nation by serving in the Armed Forces.
“Woods told Fox News, ‘In order to follow a leader, as a commander-in-chief, the military needs to trust what their leader says. They’re putting lives on the line. They have to know that what she says is true in order for them to be able to sacrifice their lives.”
Throughout the testimony on Thursday Clinton’s contradictory positions to multiple interested parties came to light when the committee brought up emails that she had sent to other heads of state that showed that she had assigned blame for the attack to different factions-including Ansar al Shariah.
“In another email on the day after the attack, Clinton told the Egyptian prime minister that “we know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack, not a protest.”
Clinton responded to Jordan by saying that “there was a lot of conflicting information that we were trying to make sense of” at the time. She said that the intelligence community was still trying to determine what happened.
Yet another email detailed the notes from a phone call between Clinton and the Libyan president while the attack was going on.
Clinton spoke of a “gun battle … which I understand Ansar al-Sharia is claiming responsibility for.”
During the testimony she gave Thursday Clinton clung to the video hypothesis, which in this bloggers opinion has been proven false. Representative Jim Jordan (R), Ohio spoke with Fox News commentator Kimberly Guilfoyle yesterday.
“He said the emails prove that Clinton “knew on the day of the attack that it was a terrorist attack, yet she told the American people something else.”
And frankly, this is exactly what should matter to all Americans. Especially those who love someone ho serves our nation in the Armed Forces or the Diplomatic Corps. They knew the nature of the attack, and yet they still chose to lie to the American people about it.
