Former NCAA volleyball player Kaylie Ray appeared before the Arizona Senate to lobby for a bill that would keep women’s sports for natal women. AZ Democrat Senator Catherine Miranda opened her questioning of Ray by making remarks on Ray’s physical appearance.
“I have my sports hat on now. It’s all about a sports mentality, growing up in sports, being a tomboy. I mean, you look pretty healthy. I’ve played against girls that look like you. You look very much in shape and strong.”
Wait, what? What is the relevance of Ray’s body shape in regards to her testimony?
AZ State Senator Catherine Miranda (D) MOCKS female volleyball player Kaylie Ray, suggesting that Kaylie isn't "competitive" because she refuses to play against MEN.
Absolutely disgusting. Democrats hate women.pic.twitter.com/TUr7zSTaEY

Would any sentient human being let such remarks slide if they were said by a man? I mean, watching Miranda’s sniggering and handwaving just this side of “hey, big girl, are you afraid of boys? Why are you afraid?“ makes one wonder if this was a government chamber or a school playground.
But, of course, Catherine tries to justify her meangirl taunt by saying she grew up a tomboy, competed with boys, and would have been thrilled to have a male on her team. To say Kaylie Ray was less than thrilled with this Democrat would be an understatement.
“How could you look me in the eyes and ask me if I’m competitive. Obviously I’m standing in front of you fighting for something right now. I don’t know what part of that is not competitive to you. But if you want to go toe-to-toe then we can go toe-to-toe,” Ray told Fox News Digital. (snip)
“I, in the moment, was trying to maintain professionalism, we’re in a professional environment. I was just trying to be respectful and courteous,” she said. “But inside, I was fuming.” Ray even had to call her parents after the hearing, to vent. (snip)
“When she started saying those words, the only thing I was thinking is, ‘Where could she possibly be going with this?’” she said. “It was clear to me as she continued speaking that, for whatever reason, my physical appearance or stature should have some type of effect on how competitive I am with men. So I was definitely thrown off guard.”
Which was entirely the point of Creepy Catherine’s pointed remarks. To jog Ray’s elbow, throw her off stride, even to elicit an intemperate remark the Democrat could later use against people who support keeping males out of female spaces.
Because, somehow in the last 10-15 years, it has become the default position of Liberals that not only does biological sex not matter but that trying to keep males out of female sports is all kinds of terrible, horrible, really bad stuff from “transphobes”. Title IX’s text, written in 1972, may use the word “sex” but all Correct Thinking people now know that it really means “gender identity.” As Creepy Catherine has said
In explaining her vote against HCR 2003, Miranda claimed lawmakers were addressing a non-issue. Miranda said the legislation was “discriminatory” and an “attack” on LGBTQ+-identifying individuals.
“It’s out of reach, it’s out of touch, it’s out of reality,” said Miranda.
I think I rolled my eyes so hard I strained something.

So, another ignorant tw@t waffle democrat. Who would never herself compete against men, she lied, and would never let her daughter compete against a man. This vile, disgusting turd is all in on mutilating children. These garbage people are evil. Freaking pigs.
Coarse language, but I couldn’t have said it better !!!
[…] IS THERE A WAY TO DO IT WITHOUT GETTING CREEPY? AZ Democrat Goes Creepy in Trying to Defend Males in Women’s Sports . […]
Hey that bigot woman congressman was channeling UFO! I recognized the lyrics immediately!
““It’s out of reach, it’s out of touch, it’s out of reality,” said Miranda.”
Oh, Belladonna, never knew the pain
Maybe I’m crazy, maybe it’ll drive me insane
The open letter just carelessly placed
And your moving silence, the tea so delicately laced
Out of reach, out of touch
How you’ve learned to hate so much
Out of reach, out of touch
How you’ve learned to hate so much

It’s completely understandable. It’s Demsplaining.
The above is a link to an X posting. It’s about a recent story – a Democrat Congresswoman sued because she didn’t get an invitation to the Kennedy Center.
When she got to court, at the hearing, her lawyer had to admit that she had received the invitation. It went to the Spam folder on her email account. She hadn’t checked it. Someone – a male – needed to Demsplain to her to check her Spam Folder before she sued (and wasted everyone’s time and money on a frivolous lawsuit).
This is the level on which Democrats see women operating. No wonder Democrat leaders – especially the men – think that women don’t have the brain power to figure out how to get a pictured government issued ID, and why males have to be allowed to play on women’s sports teams – since obviously the women don’t know how to play those sports.
It makes perfect sense – it’s the Democrats’ version of Mansplaining.
(Of course, when a Democrat woman tries to Demsplain it doesn’t make sense because she . . .)
