Democrats are not only doubling-down on their anti-ICE rhetoric, they tell you not to believe your lyin’ eyes about what Antifa is doing in their cities.

Just as Antifa/BLM’s widespread riots of 2020 led to the infamous refrain “Firey but mostly peaceful” against the backdrop of burning city blocks, from Portland to Chicago, Democrats are ceding parts of their cities while declaring everything is safe and calm.

Portland and Chicago are emerging as epicenters of anti-Trump resistance, with Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker their unlikely general.

No more revolting a liar will you ever find.

He and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson are endangering the lives of ICE and Border Patrol personnel by calling them Nazis and withholding police backup even as gang members place bounties on the heads of federal agents.

The two have created a permission structure for Antifa — and the drug addicts, homeless crazies and disaffected loners coerced to join them — to do their worst while ordering the cops they control to stand down.

Let me be clear here — Chicago cops were ordered not to respond during the incident where ICE had been rammed and surrounded by ten cars of armed “protesters”. There are receipts:

In Portland, Antifa has commandeered and controls public streets around the ICE facility. Their “event” (started back in JUNE) is unpermitted but Portland’s police are directed to let Antifa call the shots, even to threatening the normies with arrest if they intefere.

And yet, Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek maintains there’s nothing to see here. Remain calm, people, come to Portland for its vibrant culture! So vibrant and diverse, Portland is losing residents and tourists to just over the river to Vancouver.

I rarely watch corporate broadcast news, but I will turn on a local station for the weather and local events. A few nights ago, while KTPV 12 was engaging in the usual “OMG Portland doesn’t need the National Guard!” strum und drang, one of the commenters mentioned Trump’s rationale as protecting Federal property from Antifa. Then editorializing by saying that Antifa “is an ideology, not an organization”.

Say, what? Antifa in Portland is a long-established organization.

Hello? Notice the URL? And Antifa has been occupying almost five city blocks at the Portland Waterfront for over 100 days. That takes money. That money comes from somewhere.

Taking down the USAID money-laundering NGOs was a first step. Turning off the spigot to terrorist organizations like Antifa is the next.
