LGBTQ+ activists strong-armed a Seattle coffee shop into canceling its ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event—an initiative aimed at making police officers more accessible to the community. But because the shop is Christian-owned, the activists couldn’t resist stepping in to shut it down.
The Victory Girls bring you all kinds of current political topics – from more serious topics like the Signal Leak to coffee shops being forced to shut down an event because of mob rule. Yes, this type of bullying is still happening from the TQ+ cult. And it is still important to write about.
Pilgrim Coffee, located in Shoreline just 10 miles from downtown Seattle, is the coffee shop in question.
LGBTQ+ activists have repeatedly targeted Christian business owners, suing them for refusing to bake wedding cakes or make Pride t-shirts. These owners find themselves dragged into legal battles simply for standing by their beliefs.
If they are not forcing Christian business owners into court, they’ll happily turn to mob-like tactics to shut down events. This time, Pilgrim Coffee was forced to cancel its Coffee with a Cop event, and the activists didn’t even need to show up. A simple threat on social media was enough to get the job done.
In response to the backlash, Shoreline abruptly canceled the event, Rantz reported.
“It was neither the department’s nor the City’s intent to make any community member feel unwelcome based on the selection of the event venue and the values that the venue may or may not hold. When planning future events, we will be more intentional with our venue selection,” Shoreline City Hall wrote in a March 12 statement posted to Facebook. – Fox News
Oh, so now the coffee shop owner and patrons have to feel unwelcome? This is precisely how mob rule operates. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again—so much for inclusivity and diversity. Those ideals only seem to matter when the TQ+ activists are the ones doing the forcing, pushing their perversions onto everyone else.
EXCLUSIVE: The city of Shoreline canceled an upcoming “Coffee with a Cop” event at Pilgrim Coffee after community activists vowed to protest, upset that the owner is a conservative and local pastor.

Jason Rantz, a journalist and conservative radio talk show host, tells us more –
Pilgrim Coffee is owned by Keith Carpenter, the lead pastor for Epic Life Church. He works tirelessly in the community, particularly along Aurora Avenue in Seattle, where prostitution thrives. He owns his first Pilgrim Coffee nearby.
Due to Pastor Carpenter’s religious beliefs — which are not integrated into his coffee business in any way — some activists were upset, including people who don’t live in Shoreline.
“Businesses should have to respect the rules of law, including gay marriage! Pilgrim Coffeehouse is a festering sore on our cities landscape,” a user named “Sounder Sam” posted to the city of Shoreline’s Facebook page. He lists Seattle as where he lives and posted several comments complaining about Pilgrim Coffee, calling the business “homophobic.”
“Dear Shoreline, a pro LGBTQIA2S+ protest will be scheduled in front of Pilgrim Coffeehouse on Wednesday, March 26th from 10am to 11-40! Show up loud and proud!” he posted.
Shannon Lewis, a Shoreline resident, complained that “the coffee shop is owned by Epic life church. Which is a Far-right church which is against LGBTQ, immigrants and is anti-science. So a lot of people do not feel comfortable attending.” – mynorthwest.com
So, because the coffee shop is Christian-owned, they’re not allowed to host certain events? What’s stopping the TQ+ activists from shutting them down entirely? Honestly, I’m surprised they’re even allowed to run a business in a place that feels like Sodom and Gomorrah. I have to give credit to the pastor—good for him for trying to bring some sense of reality and goodness to that area.
Just last year, another coffee shop—this one in Denver, called The Drip Cafe—came under fire from LGBTQ+ activists. This Christian-owned café wasn’t just a business; it was a ministry dedicated to helping the homeless. But apparently, that kind of love and service was too much for the Pride activists. They weren’t about to let something as simple as kindness and charity flourish in their town. The message was clear: no room for traditional values or genuine acts of compassion if it doesn’t align with their agenda.
This absurdity makes me want to bring out the JD Vance quote – Martha, do you hear yourself?
It looks like this kind of bullying is here to stay, and it’s unfortunate that businesses have to face this kind of pressure. But God bless the Christian owners who stand firm in their beliefs, even in the face of relentless attacks. It takes courage and conviction to hold your ground when the mob is trying to force you to bend to their agenda.
Oh, sure—shutting down Christian-owned business events and dragging them to court is definitely the best way to change minds and win hearts. Nothing says ‘let’s build bridges’ like silencing people and forcing them into legal battles.
But we all know that’s not their goal—they don’t care about unity. Their real aim is to shove their Marxist agenda down everyone’s throat, no matter who they have to trample to do it.
The genius idea is to dismantle traditional family values because, apparently, they’re the foundation of capitalism and inequality. After all, the biggest threat to society is the concept of a loving family and helping others. And a good cup of hot coffee.

You may want to modify your headline. Reading the body of your story it appears the city of shoreline and the police department cancelled the event, not the Christian coffee shop. I suspect the coffee shop would have gone ahead with the event regardless of protests.
We have been far too tolerant to these people. Normal folks need to start pushing back hard enough to drive these freaks back into the closet.
Agreed. These terrorists need a straight up beat-down.. Denver is lost, and Colorado is close behind.. Seattle goes without saying..
Apparently in Seattle they have no “Separation of Church and State.” Typical for the State of Washington wanting to ride roughshod over our Constitutional Rights.
I buy cakes from the Masterpiece Cakeshop guy, pretty frequently (to support his business).
He is constantly hit with lawsuits for not making transition celebration cakes and so forth. A trans lawyer in the city has made it his/her/it’s/their life goal to drive him out.
Unfortunately his shop is in a strip mall in what growing to be a pretty bad part of town. Next door to him is a tattoo parlor on one side, a pawn shop and something else I can’t remember. My husband went to the coffee shop nearby and there were vagrants screaming at people inside, making it impossible to sit in peace, unmolested. Police do nothing about it in Denver. We’re planning on moving this year or next.
Right there with ya Liz. Back in the late 90s, I thought Colorado was perfect. Now we’re actively working on an exit strategy from.the peoples republic of calirado…
Sheesh!!! That’s so sad.
That coffee shop is why they want to ban stun guns.
Saw a meme yesterday that speaks to this:
“Lord, give me patience! Because, if you give me strength, I’m gonna have to ask for bail money, too!”
Pilgrim Coffee was forced to cancel its Coffee with a Cop event
No, it was the city that cancelled the event. It was Shoreline that cancelled it, not the coffee shop.
so much for inclusivity and diversity
Ever since they declared “free speech” something for which they would fight, in the 60s, everything “freedom” for which they have fought has had one goal in mind: shutting down others who would criticize them, particularly on the basis of morals. They have never fought for my freedom to tell perverts they’re perverts – just for the perverts’ right to spread their salacious message (and their incumbent diseases).
upset that the owner is a conservative and local pastor
Oh, and this is a violation of his civil rights. It provides a religious test and unequally applies religious discrimination. And, yes, faggotry, hedonism, and transhumanism are part of a religion (Progressivism).
He needs to SUE.
Businesses should have to respect the rules of law, including gay marriage!
Motte and bailey time!!! I say we shut you down on all matters that are currently a matter of law, then. You’re not allowed to express opposition to them. That’s the standard you just set. I say we use it against you, gooder and harder.
Which is a Far-right church
Magic words again. Everything is “far-right” when it says anything against the hedonism of Progressivism. Even the mildest criticism. I’m guessing there’s no “Sparkle Creed” recited at his church.
What’s stopping the TQ+ activists from shutting them down entirely?
Well, they are trying. But (especially since USAID funding was cut off) they can’t afford to protest EVERY day. They have to go home and eat those Hot Pockets mommy nuked for them.
feels like Sodom and Gomorrah
Unfortunately, there’s still more than 10 decent people in Seattle (possibly all of them in that pastor’s church… and a couple of Catholics I know there).
if it doesn’t align with their agenda
Nope. You can only flourish in the Progressive theocracy if you thoroughly encourage the hedonism.
definitely the best way to change minds and win hearts
They don’t care. Because their morals are not yours and mine. They don’t support the things that made Western Civilization what it is (which came from Christianity). They merely expect compliance. It’s why they work so hard to make everyone participate if they can – because that’s the best way to demonstrate compliance.
dismantle traditional family values
Oh, they talk about that and equality and capitalism. But what they must do is destroy Christian morals and the authority of God. This is their true goal – to defy God and to make themselves their own gods. They want to do what they want and they do not want anyone else telling them otherwise. Kudos to this pastor (and the one in Denver) for what they do.
Well, at least they didn’t burn the place down,Kristallnacht style. So there’s that.
