Has this been a great Inauguration Day or what? This is what we prayed and waited for. Trump 2.0. President Donald John Trump did not disappoint. Tons of truth spoken, tea spilled and several oxen gored. The J6ers had the sentences commuted or pardoned. We are withdrawn from the Paris Climate Accords, there are only two sexes again, and government DEI programs are no more. AND Trump has declared a crisis at the Southern Border AND closed down the Customs & Border Patrol One App (CBP One App) has been shut down. Illegals can no longer make an appointment to cross the border. They are crying and their tears are delicious.

The whole days was filled with cultural Easter Eggs to delight us. The Inauguration Speech was for us. Then Trump signed Executive Orders at the Capitol One Arena to delight of those at the Inauguration Rally. Before going to the Inaugural Balls, he signed Executive Actions and Orders in the Oval Office, held his first Press Conference and delightfully engaged with Peter Doocy.

I am grateful for all of that, truly. I am enchanted that Trump shut down the Customs & Border Patrol App. The Customs and Border Patrol One App was actually developed and implemented under the Trump 1.0 in October of 2020. From Wikipedia:

CBP One was launched on October 28, 2020, primarily to help commercial trucking companies schedule cargo inspections.[4][5]

In January 2023, CBP One’s functionality was expanded to include unauthorized migrants seeking protection from violence, poverty, or persecution.[5]

In May 2023, CBP One was designated by the Biden administration as the only path to request asylum on the U.S.-Mexico border and book asylum appointments.[6][7][8]

On January 20, 2025, shortly after being inaugurated, the Trump administration ended the use of the app. In addition to the app no longer being used, any existing appointments with the app were cancelled.

DHS Secretary-designate and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem said she was going to shut the Customs & Border Patrol One App down on Day One in her Confirmation Hearing:

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for Department of Homeland Security secretary, vowed Friday to immediately halt the mobile app that lets migrants register to enter the US.

“If confirmed and I have the opportunity to be secretary on Day 1, CBP One will be shut down,” Noem said in her Senate confirmation hearing.

An estimated 800,000 migrants have entered the US legally since the CBP One app was launched by President Biden in January 2023. The free application allows migrants to register themselves for an appointment and arrive at one of the eight crossing checkpoints into the country.

The governor called the border a “war zone” and promised to give Border Patrol agents all the resources they need to reverse the flow of migrants incurred under the Biden administration — as she sees its security as a “top priority” for the country.

Well, legally, sort of. No questions are asked about their asylum claims and no background checks are done. They have a date and place to cross the border and often are NOT even given a court appointment.

The CBP One App was shut down and the tears of the globalists are salty and spicy. From the Washington Post:

Moments after Trump was sworn in, Jiménez logged on to the app and saw a new message that left him flummoxed.

“Existing appointments are no longer valid,” it said.

Other migrants gathered around him logged on to the app and received the same message. One woman sat down and began to weep beneath a fleece blanket. Another leaned against a pole, buried her face in her gloved hands and cried. Jiménez made a video call to his mother, anxiously awaiting news from Cuba.

“After everything we’ve done and gone through to get here,” Jiménez lamented. “If only I had had the appointment for three hours earlier.”

As Trump took office promising to immediately halt “all illegal entry” to the country, an increasingly desperate scene played out immediately across the border from El Paso in the city of Juárez, Mexico.

Jimenez from Cuba may very well have a valid asylum claim, but when the system is overwhelmed by people who just want the American Dream, we can’t know that. It’s not like they didn’t have months of warning. Trump said Day One through the campaign.

We are not hardhearted and unfeeling. The salty and spicy tears of these people were caused by the Biden Administration and the Democrat Media Industrial Complex. X comments did not disappoint:
