One might think that after almost nine years of relentless “resistance” against Trump — lawfare, violent protests, sabotage from underlings, FBI raid (including the fondling of Melania’s underwear), and including two assassination attempts — that only resulted in Trump’s reelection by large margins, would result in a moment of pause and reflection. One would be wrong.

The shrieking and rending of garments across Leftwing institutions and their camp followers has been epic and the cause of emptying the grocery shelves of popcorn for the forseeable future. But in our well-deserved schadenfreude we can’t forget that they won’t light a few candles and meditate on why they lost. From all indications, they are about to double down.

And we must act accordingly.

This is no time to go wobbly. We beat the left decisively and completely. Their humiliation is complete. They thought they had us at their feet and at their mercy. They thought they could throw our avatar in jail and thereby disenfranchise and silence us. They thought they were going to be in power forever and rule over us as if we were serfs and they were feudal lords, except feudal lords were actually kind of butch and had swords and stuff and didn’t go around crying because someone used the wrong pronoun to describe them.

That America dodged a bullet is beyond debate. Ironically, Trump literally dodged a bullet in one of the two attempts by his enemies to murder him. America could have gone into a dark place. (snip)

There will be a temptation to return to the old norms, that is, the pre-Trump era where Republicans acted like prissy gentlemen and the Democrats gave them wedgies.

The Party of JFK no longer exists. There is no Tip O’Neill swapping stories with Ronald Reagan at the end of the day. Politics was just a job or sport where after the dust settled, everyone met in the center of the field, shook hands and went out for beer.

No, Democrat Party liberalism is as dead as the Norwegian Blue with the leadership still insisting it is alive, “just resting”. In its place is an illiberal regime of Leftism dominated by zealots who really believe that Trump and his supporters are “fascists”. The tantrum by the females on The View is just an amuse-bouche of the insanity that stretches from the bowels of TikToc to academia and governor mansions.

Now there’s a guy who will stop and question his own responsibility in this debacle, amirite? There are tens of thousands of like-minded Leftcultist reprobates posting videos of themselves throwing tantrums, predicting impending doom or threatening people who didn’t vote their way. Because, like, you know, 24/7 screaming that anyone outside the Leftcult are Fascist.Nazi.Homophobe.Transphobe.Misogynist.Racist.Yadda.Yadda.Yadda is a very persuasive argument to put your side in power.

And where we might expect elected leaders to call for calm and understanding, Democrat governors are spitting mad, rejecting the election and threatening the incoming administration.

The Democrats will not accept the election, they despise every voter who finally had enough of tolerating their unAmerican nonsense. By word, thought and deed since Tuesday, they show no indication of introspection. They don’t believe they lost on merit. They don’t believe in any personal responsibility. The toxic bilge they tossed our way splashed back on them, but they blame us.

Give no quarter.

We can’t just say ‘Oh well we’re all Americans in the end’ and pretend that everything is okay. Everything is not okay.

Back in July after the first Trump assassination attempt, I wrote that there can be no national unity, no burying the hatchet or cooling the rhetoric with people who have been encouraging political violence and pushing assassination prep for years. You can’t smack someone in the face with a hammer and then insist everyone calm down.

Trump’s election victory doesn’t change that. Those in the news media who spent years calling Trump a fascist and comparing him to Hitler, claiming he represents a threat to democracy and that he’ll use his presidential powers to go after his enemies, should not be forgiven. Their lies and nonstop propaganda should not be forgotten. No one should ever take them seriously again. When they try to engage the public square, they should either be ignored entirely or met with a wall of mockery and derision. They are enemies of the American people, whom they openly despise, and there can be no real unity with them no matter what they might say in the future.

And we cannot tolerate any GOPe squishes again. Never Trumpers, Lincoln Project, et al. Those sockpuppets for the Left should be shunned forever.

We need to stop being Charlie Brown believing that [Democrat] Lucy will let us kick the football this time. Ain’t gonna happen.

We aren’t out of danger, there’s more than 70 days until inauguration.
