With no apology at all to the late essayist Clive James, “Nobody gets out of this world alive.” Since death comes to all of it and many progo types are eager to off as many of us as possible, I was surprised at how rarely Victory Girls has written regarding Euthanasia in the last decade. We have fortunately amassed a sizeable catalogue we can reference when writing on a subject, but this one, not so much. Darleen touch on Canadian Euthanasia in her fantastic Sunday Morning Cafe Cocktails and that’s a good jumping off point for today’s journey to the darkside. She wrote:
Oh Canada! The slippery slope of “Socialized Medicine”
From Obama’s bald-faced if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor to the trans mission creep of the Biden Admin pursuing taxpayer-funded mutilation of children, it has never been more clear that access to medicine will be decided on an individual’s utility to the group, not their inherent worth as an individual.
A disabled veteran in Canada has slammed her government for offering to euthanize her when she grew frustrated at delays in having a wheelchair lift installed in her home.
Retired Army Corporal Christine Gauthier, a former Paralympian, testified in Parliament on Thursday that a Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) caseworker made the assisted suicide offer.
After years of frustrating delays in getting the home lift, Gauthier says the caseworker told her: ‘Madam, if you are really so desperate, we can give you medical assistance in dying now.’
First, do no harm, My Aunt Fanny. This morning our eye was drawn to a headline in the Post Millennial: “Woman promotes euthanasia in Canada with video of grandmother saying she’s ‘looking forward’ to scheduled suicide”. Euthanasia? Cool! Let’s party! Subhead is:
“I’ve always made my own decisions for myself in living. I trust I will in death.”
I have a couple thoughts on that line above. That’s so “hippy” sounding. AND, that’s arrogant and selfish. I am glad that my life has been lived (so far) making my own decisions for myself with and in consideration of others. I love well and hard and take a lot of people into consideration in my decisions, but that’s how those hippy types were, selfish. Now, the former Sports Illustrated model is celebrating Grandma’s decision to engage the State to off herself:
On Sunday, TikTok influencer Ali Tate Cutler, who has 30,700 followers on the platform and describes herself as a “Self Love Coach, Model, Mother, Aesthetic Avatar” posted a video with her grandmother who said she was “looking forward” to the euthanasia she signed up for.
“What are your thoughts as you, like, move closer to the day?” Cutler asked her grandmother.
“It’s like the light at the end of the tunnel,” she responded.
The light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train, for real. Check out Cutler and Grandma talking about the day:
Euthanasia can be helpful to some patients at a certain point in their illness.
This old gal doesn't look as if she's at that point yet.
This "granddaughter" is a disappointing person.
Her slouching posture, smirking, casual manner and questions and breast wagging is disturbing. https://t.co/UKDW7swRLp— TWITTY GAZETTE PAMPHLETEER (@atwitty2) May 23, 2023
More:
Cutler reposted the video to her Instagram account, where she has 252,000 followers and said of the video, “TBH, I was very resistant to euthanasia before she told me her decision. It felt unethical to me. But I have had my mind changed after hearing her reasons and I’m so happy that she has the option available in Canada. How to live well and die well are codes, and she has given me knowledge on both. To the Goat #euthanasia #ondying #deathwithdignity.”
There is no dignity in death. You poop and pee yourself. Unless, of course, that have tubes and stuff in you and that’s not dignified either. Whoever started this death with dignity shit is demented.
Not for nothing, but the acronym of the State Off Yourself program in Canada is M.A.I.D. or Medical Assistance In Dying. Awwww, isn’t that sweet. From PJ Media:
According to reporting from PJ Media’a Lincoln Brown, the Canadian government killed 10,000 people in 2021 alone through its MAID program. Official numbers for 2022 are not in yet, but we can safely assume they will climb.
Even Canadian veterans have reportedly been offered MAID as a “final solution” of sorts by Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), the Canadian equivalent of the VA in the US.
The government is even encouraging the mentally ill to end their lives: “In 2021, it was determined that Canadians whose only medical condition is a mental illness, and who otherwise meet all eligibility criteria, would not be eligible for MAID for two years—until March 17, 2023.”
Other technocratic Western countries have gotten in on the MAID action as well. “The Netherlands is to widen its euthanasia regulations to include the possibility of doctors assisting in the death of terminally ill children aged between one and 12,” the Guardian reported last year.
The most vulnerable among us from the unborn to the infirm to the aged are the first ones to go. Just like putting your dog down, right. Look you sick effs, that the hardest thing I have ever done. It wasn’t a light at the end of the tunnel, you heartless pricks. Humans are not dogs. Dogs cannot understand suffering. There is no meaning in it for them. I totally agree with this tweet:
i personally think we don’t talk enough about how evil and dystopian canada’s MAiD program is pic.twitter.com/vdRkjkTGDO

Soon, very soon, it won’t be your right to die, it will be your duty to die. What fun? Think of the Euthanasia Roller Coaster.
Kind of like the Carousel in the movie, Logan’s Run. These people are sick and really get off on people dying.

To every abortion-loving person out there, I think, “Why don’t you repair your mother’s mistake?”
To those who want others to die because the world has too many people, or “Gaia needs you to die”, I wonder, “Why don’t you lead the way? Trust me, I won’t be following in your footsteps.”
I think those are the things we need to stop thinking, and start asking.
I fear euthanasia will be like the right-turn-on-red “option.” When it first became legal to turn right on red, it was the driver’s choice when and even if they wanted to turn. Try stopping at a red light and not turning nowadays – the driver behind you will start honking their horn to get you moving. It’ll be the same with euthanasia; first a choice, but ultimately “What are you waiting for, get going!”
The fact that there is so much emphasis on suicide prevention programs at the same time that public policy is shifting to encourage euthanasia suggests that the issue is not so much economic as it is one of relocating the locus of control from the individual to an all-powerful state. People are encouraged to ask for a doctor’s help in ending their lives (after completing the required government forms, of course), but getting a bottle of Jack Daniels and a revolver has to be prevented at all costs.
