The past week has been one filled with a ton of twists and turns when it comes to my usual “beat” here at VG. Those of you who read my posts regularly  know that I tend to cover the jihadi issue and all things Islamofacist. This week has given me lots to ponder. The Administration, as we all know, released five Al Qaeda war cabinet members without consulting Congress (illegal) and swapped them for an (alleged) U.S. Army deserter whose father mysteriously knows Pashtun and wears a beard that makes him resemble a Taliban elder who also invoked Allah on the White House lawn.  Bob Bergdahl, said (alleged) deserters father,  also Tweeted that he is personally working to free every last prisoner from Gitmo and that the U.S. will pay for the death of every Afghan child lost in the war in that country.

What bothers me the most about this is not just that Obama broke the law to secure the release of someone who reports are confirming converted to Islam and declared himself a mujahadi (loose translation is a warrior for Islam) as long as four years ago, but that he has allowed a woman and her two children to sit and rot in a disease infested jail, where many children imprisoned with their mothers have died, in Sudan while he made the Bergdahl swap. To make it even more disgusting the State Department of the United States of America told the father Daniel Waid, who is a naturalized US citizen, that they refuse to confirm the citizenship of his children until he can provide them a positive DNA test identifying Daniel Wadi as their father.

So, I am just wondering-when does the March Hare show up? Where is the bottle that I drink from to make this all go away? What the HELL does a President have to do to be impeached?? I guess that even that envelope is being pushed these days. I have to agree with Fox News pundit, and former New Jersey judge Andrew Napolitano on the topic in an appearance on Kilmeade and Friends:

“Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade said, “Here’s the thing, and I don’t even know if this is a legal question. You’re not exchanging this guy for a bag of cricket balls. You’re exchanging him for four of the worst of the worst.”

“Everybody agrees that they’re more than likely to go back to terror,” Kilmeade said, “and be part of the brain trust of the Taliban.”

“That’s why I say the president may well have committed a federal crime,” said Napolitano, “by giving material assistance to a terrorist organization. He knows — ought to have known — that that’s what these guys will do.”

“The president should be impeached for this,” he said. “In my view, it’s a very, very valid argument that people are going to start talking about.”

Hopefully sometime soon the March Hare will run past me, followed by the Mad Hatter, I will attend the Tea Party and drink the magic serum that will wake me from the living nightmare that has become this Administration.
