Tom was an original – there was never any mistaking his music (or his videos). I offer a couple of my favorites.
Son of Rusty Shackleford says: Can’t help but think the last thoughts in his mind were “I Won’t Back Down” while CBS reported he’d already died. Only Jeff Lynne and Bob Dylan left of the Travelin’ Wilburys now. Can you imagine the music one gets to hear in heaven? David Byrne may have smugly said nothing ever happens there, but I don’t have to be dead to know how wrong he is!
