This Wednesday the Leftwing March for Women collective (the intellectual giants known for their knitted pussy hats and vulva costumes) has called for a General Strike: A Day without a Woman.

Just spit balling here, I predict it will be as successful as that Day without an Immigrant we all muddled through on Feb 16th. Heh.

I could spend a few thousand words here on the cynicism, question-begging and illiberal, leftist virtue-signaling inherent in this strike. However, I would rather do something that counters them by making people happy with a woman’s presence.

SNACKS!! As this Facebook page, Women’s Liberty, explains:

We rock the cradle and the boardroom. We stand on stages and before classrooms. We write books and right wrongs.

We are women who find no need to don pussy hats or cardboard-and-felt vulvas. We find there is little worthwhile in listening to lectures from convicted murderers, anti-Semites and female supremacists.

We do not spend our days in anger and outrage. We don’t strain at gnats.

We know, and are grateful, that we live in a time and in a country where women have every opportunity to shape our lives by our choices. More importantly, we are adults who accept that with the liberty and opportunities that are ours comes the responsibility to accept both the successes and failures our choices may bring.

Where in history have the women of any civilization been as blessed as we are?

Let March 8th be a day of happiness and laughter.

And snacks. Be the woman who brings the snacks.
