The Cowardice of Hillary Clinton and Weekend Links

She hasn’t had a very good week. First, someone throws a shoe at her during a speech and she laughs it off. But when a group of Benghazi protestors plan to picket a venue where she was to headline, the Clinton bravado vanishes. We find out that Hillary Clinton is a coward, unwilling to face or be exposed to protests over Benghazi.

This weekend, Hillary Clinton was scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the “17th Annual Western Healthcare Leadership Academy” in San Diego, but she cancelled due to a “scheduling conflict”, electing to appear by satellite instead of in-person. I think she didn’t want to face an angry crowd of protestors from a group called “The Difference Matters.” She didn’t want to hear all the unanswered questions shouted at her from those gathered. She didn’t want to see large posters with the faces of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Ty Woods, Glen Doherty, and Sean Smith on them. And I suspect she really didn’t want to see Pat Smith – mother of Sean Smith, one of the “Benghazi 4” who died in the consulate attack – standing at the center of that protest.

Notice the name of the protest group? Yeah. We all remember Hillary’s meltdown testimony to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on January 23, 2013, when she screeched “What difference does it make?!?” while being questioned about the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi. Awesome name for a protest group!

“The Difference Matters” protestors are showing up because of Hillary’s still unknown and rather murky role in the Benghazi scandal. I imagine Pat Smith is really tired of being lied to about what happened to her son by practically everybody even remotely connected to the Obama Administration including Hillary — and you can bet Hillary knows that. Hillary just didn’t want to face Pat Smith. And the irony? Those in Benghazi were supposed to carry on, with inadequate security, and stand their post to the death. But Hillary, with Secret Service, was unable to show up in San Diego, because of a potential protest? If true, and I suspect it is, she is a COWARD.

Hillary refuses to take responsibility for Benghazi. Eighteen months later, the death of four Americans abroad and public accountability still matters. She will come to find that out, though, as she ramps up her run for President. Eventually and repeatedly, she will come face-to-face with those who demand answers from her about what happened in Benghazi. Protestors WILL be waiting for her at EVERY event. She can’t cancel everything.

At some time after the 2008 Presidential Election, a male celeb (don’t remember the name) was interviewed. He stated that he had voted for Obama, because “he wanted to see if we could do it.” That is, whether a “black” could be elected to the oval office. We have seen the consequences of having such decision-making. I surely hope that a similar sentiment is not uttered in 2016 about electing the first woman to the presidency.

I’ll not add, at this time, any further thoughts about Hillary Clinton. I will say that the protest group’s name “The Difference Matters” is compelling. It would also, for the right candidate, make an excellent campaign slogan.

Yeah I love the protest name of “The Difference Matters” too!!

If HC is the D nominee, sheeple WILL once again vote “to see if we can do it” (elect a woman as POTUS). With all their baggage, the Clintons are still Teflon. It’s annoying as hell.

      • VALman says:

Just remember that after awhile even teflon becomes marred, scratched, and not accomplishing its job. So, regardless of what it may have done in the pass, it can’t get the job done NOW! Maybe, just maybe, her time is past.
