There is no logical explanation possible for the news that Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev may not get the death penalty.  Unless, of course, we want to get into the fact that liberals have absolutely no sense of justice unless it’s preceded by words like “gender” or “social.”

“It’s one thing for the government to be willing to impose the death penalty; it will be a lot harder to find people in Massachusetts to serve on a jury who would vote for the death penalty,” said Andrew Smith, director of the University of New Hampshire Survey Center.

Why is that?  One would think that after the terror that the MopTop Muslim inflicted on Boston while turning his brother into roadkill, Boston would be foaming at the mouth to burn him at the stake.  Well, a logical one would think.  But we’re talking about Massachusetts, the state that not only elected John Kerry over and over, but also ensured that Teddy Kennedy got to keep his Senate seat for literally DECADES after he left his extramarital sex partner to drown while his drunken, disgusting self swam to shore and concocted a CYA story.  Logical and coherent thought that embodies a sense of justice is not exactly Massachusetts’ forte.

Does Massachusetts even have a sense of shame?  Maybe that’s the real question.  Would they rather spend their exorbitant taxes on making sure that the welfare-sucking, Islam-loving, America-hating leech has hair product and a pick for his faux Afro for the duration of his natural life in prison?  Would they rather pay for his medical care (while their own policies are getting canceled, mind you)?  Maybe they’d like to personally donate to his canteen fund.  Certainly a young man like Tsarnaev would like some candybars or soap.  How about a subscription to Popular Mechanics?  I hear he’s into building things.

The absolute only thing the people of Massachusetts and the federal government should be interested in buying for Tsarnaev is a box of ammo—all of which should be implanted in his head at extremely high velocity.  Then again, this decision is ultimately left up to Attorney General Eric Holder, who’s really not into killing people unless they’re innocents and Border Patrol agents.  Terrorists are no big deal.
