One would think that someone tossing a smoking IED at a group of protestors while yelling “Allah Ackbar” would cause concern, especially in New York City post-9/11. But leave it to media to reframe the incident to blame the protestors.

It appears that Jake Lang, a so-called rightwing influencer, had gathered a huge crowd of about 20 people in front of Gracie Mansion for an anti-Islamification protest (including roasting a pig). But as with all things Islamists find objectionable — and the list is mind-numbingly long — twenty people publicly mocking Islam is twenty people too many.

So here come the IEDs.

The bombs hurled during violent protests near Gracie Mansion on Saturday were real, highly volatile explosive devices, NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said Sunday.

“The NYPD Bomb Squad has conducted a preliminary analysis of a device that was ignited and deployed at a protest yesterday and has determined that it is not a hoax device or a smoke bomb,” Tisch wrote on X.

“It is, in fact, an improvised explosive device that could have caused serious injury or death.”

She said that two pro-Muslim demonstrators, identified as Emir Balat and Ibrahim Kayumi, were arrested in the incident, with federal authorities now working with the NYPD.

It was to be expected that Democrat politicians would rush to blame — not the Islamists flinging IEDs — but the protestors for wearing their skirts too short.

Because New Yorkers should plainly accept that NYC is a Muslim city now and “outside provocateurs” doesn’t include Allah Snackbar Bomb Throwers.

This kind of overwhelming jihadist response to all slights, real or imagined, has a long bloody history in other parts of the world where Muslims are the majority. One should expect that Americans should not be covering for these jihadists.

One would be disappointed in Mainstream Media … yet again.
