When calling opponents “racists” and “Nazis” no longer delivers the shock value it once did, what’s left? Well, if you’re a young Democrat, apparently the answer is swearing—lots of it. Dropping F-bombs has become the new political strategy, a way to sound harsh, relatable, and fed up.
Maybe some of these politicians have been binge-watching way too many South Park reruns. Or perhaps they’ve just realized that profanity is a shortcut to viral moments in an era where outrage is currency. Either way, the shift is clear—today’s Democratic firebrands aren’t just pushing progressive policies; they’re doing it with the kind of language that used to get your mouth washed out with soap.
Take Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett, for example. People on X have been asking when exactly she adopted this new, more abrasive style. She hasn’t always spoken this way, but recently, she’s been puffing out her chest and leaning into a more aggressive tone that’s caught a lot of attention.
At some point, a Democrat strategist told Jasmine Crockett to “act more ghetto” and instead of being offended by that like a rational person would…
She took the advice and rolled with it.

Apparently, Jasmine Crockett’s street cred might be a little more manufactured than she’d like us to believe. Some people are saying she grew up privileged, which, to them, apparently means she had a roof over her head and—gasp—a stable upbringing. Oh, so she grew up in a traditional household with morals, values, and probably a few family dinners? Yeah, that’s privileged alright. Because apparently, if you didn’t hustle on the corner, you must’ve had life handed to you. Funny how traditional values are now equated with privilege.
But we’ll move on.
Whoa, hold on there, big dog, Jason. If fake eyelashes and fake nails are the new definition of “ghetto,” then I guess I’m ghetto, too. Although, where I come from, we don’t call it “ghetto”—we call it hillbilly. It’s basically the same thing, just with a slightly different accent and a lot more flannel.
Setting aside the fun at Jasmine’s expense, it’s clear that more and more representatives are leaning into this abrasive language. It’s becoming a trend across the board, as if the more you swear, the more politically relevant you become.
In the earliest weeks of Trump’s second term, Democrats have careened from strategy to strategy to respond to him, often ineffectually. But one unifying thread as they try to invigorate their connection to the American voter has been a reach for profanity.
Democrats are cursing up a storm.
“Goddamn it, tell me who started that?” said Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, a frequent purveyor of profanity.
Cursing is, of course, not new in politics. Among operatives, principals and journalists, it is a familiar way to broker instant bonhomie. Nor is it new for the Democratic Party, particularly when confronting Trump: Former DNC Chair Tom Perez frequently deployed profanity in 2017 in stump speeches, saying, for example, that Trump didn’t “give a shit about health care.” – Politico
Are these the same Democrats who had little hissy fits over Trump’s mean tweets? And it’s not just politicians getting in on the offensive speech – plenty of left-wing media outlets are all about using upsetting language for attention and ratings. I’m looking at you, Nicolle Wallace and Rachel Madow.
As a former sailor, my ears aren’t exactly innocent, and my language can get pretty colorful. But here’s the thing—I don’t use it in a professional setting. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve made a conscious effort to dial back the bleeps and keep things more appropriate. Is there ever really a time and place for that kind of language? If I’m being honest, probably not. Especially when we are talking about an office, a family environment, or speaking in front of a camera.
I love John Kass’s latest piece about this topic.
What is the Democrat message? Do they even know?
Is the Democrat message pure Jacobin hatred for anything pro-American and anything that could be considered pro-President Donald Trump?
They’re feral creatures now, lonely, isolated, frightened without leadership, desperate for relevance, without any cogent message, terrified at what’s to become of them.
And quite mad, like inmates in Victorian lunatic asylum. – John Kass News
It’s definitely a question the Democrats should be asking themselves.
I’ll throw a question: Are we at a crossroads where Americans turn to social media for laughs and a lighthearted escape, pretending that feeling powerless and helpless in the political world is just part of the fun? Or are we at the point where we step back, reflect, and use our self-awareness to course-correct—moving forward with an agenda that’s good and true for all of us?
That’s exactly what voters did when they elected Donald J. Trump—seeking a course correction. The Democrats, on the other hand, seem more focused on their frustration and jealousy that their progressive ideas didn’t get pushed through. They’re throwing tantrums instead of accepting that the political landscape has shifted. And what does a very immature person do when they get mad? Throw a hate-filled, foul-mouthed tantrum.
More from John Kass –
Long ago, the Democrat Party had a choice:
Cleanse themselves of their Barack Obama infection, cleanse themselves of Obama’s racist and radical addiction to racial preferences that we now know as DEI, amputate any limbs that had become sodden with jacobin gangrene and become what they had been: a patriotic American party of the American working class.
Or, they could continue following the discredited Clintons and Obamas down the sewer.
The Democrats chose the sewer. – John Kass News
And that, my friends, is how you handle yourself when you want to make a point.
The Democratic Party is lost in radical left-wing ideas, losing touch with everyday Americans. Instead of focusing on practical solutions, they continue to fuel divisiveness. Issues like crime and women’s sports are being overlooked, driving voters away.
Here’s another question: Do we just let them continue to circle the drain? Yes, it might be tempting to watch them implode, but we need both parties to keep each other in check. A one-party America is bad because it leads to unchecked power and poor decisions. There’s no balance without opposition, and no one holds the government accountable. We all need to be kept on track for the country’s future.

If one cannot say something forcefully, profoundly, and truthfully, without using profanity, they have little wit and no intelligence.
The use of profanity tells me a person really has no argument to make.
The F-word is the most disgusting word in the world.
