One of the basic tenets of the global warming myth is population control. It doesn’t matter that there’s almost no one who still believes in global warming, liberals will still try to use it to try to accomplish their own twisted plans. The latest example of this is the UN’s bright new decision to combat global warming: free condoms! Because, you know, we have just got to stop the baby-making!
The battle against global warming could be helped if the world slowed population growth by making free condoms and family planning advice more widely available, the U.N. Population Fund said Wednesday.
The agency did not recommend countries set limits on how many children people should have, but said: “Women with access to reproductive health services … have lower fertility rates that contribute to slower growth in greenhouse gas emissions.”
“As the growth of population, economies and consumption outpaces the Earth’s capacity to adjust, climate change could become much more extreme and conceivably catastrophic,” the report said.
The world’s population will likely rise from the current 6.7 billion to 9.2 billion in 2050, with most of the growth in less developed regions, according to a 2006 report by the United Nations.
The U.N. Population Fund acknowledged it had no proof of the effect that population control would have on climate change. “The linkages between population and climate change are in most cases complex and indirect,” the report said.
So the UN can’t even establish a credible link between population growth and climate change, yet we’re just supposed to start gobbling up our free condoms and spit out less babies? Yeah, I’m sure we’ll get right on that.
What’s interesting is how you consider that population control is such a strong element of the global warming cult. Liberals have been attacking the family for decades as it is, and I can’t help but wonder if this is just another part of that. After all, the global warming hoax was dreamed up mainly by liberals and kept going by liberals. Is the population control aspect just another part of the liberal attack on the family? It’s hard to tell for sure, but something tells me that it’s more than just coincidence.

Population control, Cassy? Just say control, period, and we’ll leave it at that. Hell, this is what health care is all about. It has nothing to do with health or money but control. This just happens to be the first step towards greater control over everyone.
Even Obama admits that he wants this country to become more like Europe (and let’s face it, health care is what started the socialist bullshit across the pond). Obama’s just taking a page of the leftist EU playbook and he’s running it step by step (you honestly think he isn’t jealous of the potential power that the bureaucrats have over a half billion people who now live in the EU?). Cripes, the Democrats wished they could have the same power the EU parliament now has in Europe.
Oh yeah, on a somewhat unrelated note (or maybe it is related because anything Obama does seems to connect with something else), the Messiah is now saying that he wants US troops out of Afghanistan before he leaves office (I think that news came out today and it’s apparently serious enough that the Pakis are shitting themselves about it). That was fun while it lasted. So much for the war he said that we just had to win…
