i woke this morning to find out that tony snow died today.  he was a great conservative voice.  a great thinker and debater.  a great musician.  by all accounts a great family man.  he was a happy warrior and one of the good guys.  he will be so missed.

did you know in his spare time he played in a band called “beats workin’?”  here is a fun vid of tony and his band playing at the national press club:

his advice since discovering he had cancer?  “Live Boldly.  Live a Full Life.”   you can read president bush’s statement about Tony and the news of his passing here.  pray for his wife and three children.

UPDATE:  7/17/08  tony snow’s funeral was held this am in DC.  i haven’t heard if the westboro baptist church creeps showed up but alot of other people did including the president and mrs. bush.  here are the details of the service — i loved what the president said to tony’s kids.
