have you seen it? if you have, then you’ll understand perfectly why this video by los angeles ‘street artist’, saber, is one of 20 finalists chosen in the dnc’s ‘Health Reform Video Challenge’. but apparently a contestant whose video didn’t make the final-20 is complaining that a video ‘defacing the flag’ won’t do much to help obama or the democrats sell health care reform to the country.
frankly, what the the complainer says is true. mainstream americans will hate this. but his comment is naive. of course the video below should be in the dnc’s top 20! it demonstrates exactly the way progressives, who are now in charge, see our country.
could someone please tell the progressive vermin in dc that desecration of anything isn’t hip? by the way, judges for the winning video include dnc chairman tim kaine, obama campaign chief david plouffe, and rep. patrick murphy (d-pa.).

Graffiti is apparently being treated in this video as a way for the allegedly “urban poor” to “discuss” the matter by ‘tagging’ a painted flag on a city wall. I can see on a basic level how this could be perceived as artistic/witty/appropriate.
Either way, it is an exercise of the 1st Amendment and therefore is permitted.
MY BEEF isn’t with free speech of others. MY BEEF is with the CONTENT of the message. (Look to my previous post above.) MY BEEF is that the gov’ment is basically trying to lay the groundwork for the eventual “taking over” of health care BY THE GOVERNMENT. Something the federal government is not empowered to do!!
