Fireworks: Dana Loesch Takes on Ed Schultz on MSNBC

There may be a cold front sweeping most of the nation, but the atmosphere was definitely hot and charged Thursday when TheBlaze TV’s Dana Loesch entered MSNBC’s lion’s den to take on not one, but three, liberal mouthpieces regarding Obamacare.

Here’s some background information:

News emerged this past Tuesday that conservative TV and radio host Glenn Beck has been suffering for several years from a series of baffling, debilitating illnesses. Leftist MSNBC host Ed Schultz was quick to turn the news into a gambit for universal health care. His fellow travelers at Twitter gleefully piled on, including those who called Beck “an attention-whoring pathological liar,” who should just “die quickly.”

Not someone to let this challenge to her boss at TheBlaze TV go unanswered, Dana Loesch agreed to debate Schultz over Obamacare. Dana got more than she expected:  not only did she have to deal with the explosive blowhard Schultz, but Obamacare apologist Dr. Corey Hebert and MSNBC host Krystal Ball (is that really her name??)

And this is how it all went down:

Arrogant Ed informed Dana that he was showing her “respect by doing the interview” (he deigned to speak to a conservative — how big of him!), while she countered with “I’m doing you a favor by doing this interview,” which is probably the case, since FoxNews is eating his lunch in ratings.

Dana stood up to Schultz’s bullying tactics of shouting, talking over her, and calling her “rude” and “unworkable.” I had to laugh when Schultz insisted that more people are now being covered by health insurance, and that those who were kicked off their plans had “junk” plans anyway. My husband and I have just been informed that our individual plans are on the chopping block, and we have been perfectly happy with our Health Savings Accounts. In our house, it’s score one for Dana when she told Schultz, “Remember, it was Politifact’s ‘Lie of the Year’ just recently that the president promised that if you like your health care plan you can keep it.”

The interview ended when Dana told of a friend battling breast cancer who just lost her health care options due to the regulations in Obamacare. Schultz’s response? In essence, he labeled Dana a liar, and demanded that he interview her friend.

Let me ask you this:  If you were dealing with cancer, would you want to further traumatize yourself by relating your health care problems to a hostile gasbag like Ed Schultz? Me neither.

I hope that friend doesn’t take up Schultz’s invitation, but she doesn’t need to do so. Our girl Dana Loesch did a fine job standing her ground in the antagonistic atmosphere of MSNBC. Way to go, girl! You done good!

Now it’s Schultz’s turn to show up on Dana’s program. Only she won’t be bringing a tag team.
