Video Surfaces of Bergdahl Being Released to U.S. Special Forces

This video purports to show the moment of release of Bowe Bergdahl to U.S. personnel who arrived by helicopter, shook a few hands, and whisked the AWOL soldier away over the dusty hills of the surrounding hostile territory.

We have written a lot here on Victory Girls about these developments in the last few days. Much remains to be seen as this mysterious man is returned to the United States and, hopefully, the truth as to what happened with him is sought in earnest.

What struck me as I watched this video is that the men aboard that helicopter risked their lives to fly into that hostile territory, not knowing if there was an ambush set up or if they themselves would make it out alive. I have the utmost admiration for all of those who serve in our military. But watching this video of the brave men who effectuated this rescue brought tears to my eyes.If you did not catch the details, watch again and note these scenes:

I hope their families and loved ones know that these rescuers did our country proud in carrying out these risky orders. May God bless all of them! And may Bergdahl get the justice that we deserve.
