Obama Wants Your Daughter’s Virginity

Obama Wants Your Daughter’s Virginity

As if Barack Obama couldn’t get any more desperate, he’s now resorted to sexual double entendres to try to win votes. Obama’s newest ad stars Lena Dunham, creator and star of the sluttier, more depressing version of Sex and the City, Girls. (Yes, there is a sluttier version of Sex and the City, depressingly enough.)

With a mischievous twinkle in her eye, Dunham suggests you make sure your first time is special, and magical, and with someone you love. Barack Obama, of course. And if that sounds a bit like she’s talking about losing your virginity, you need to get your filthy mind out of the gutter. She’s talking about voting for the first time. Duh!

Gay marriage! Free birth control! Socialism! All the things that make a little progressive hipster skank’s heart go SQUEE!, so of course, you should vote for him.

Ace slams the ad, and really, hits the nail on the head of what exactly is wrong with Obama’s entire campaign.

It underlines the essential triviality of Obama and his Government Client & Upper Upper Class White Voter agenda. There is nothing to his campaign except very small social-progressive appeals to people who are simply not affected by the economy, whether they are too poor to notice a bad economy, immunized from the economy by being a government worker, or so rich they have nothing at all to fear from a bad economy.

While that is very, very true, there’s also one other issue here. On what planet did the Obama campaign watch this ad and think, “Yes. This will resonate with voters,”? I mean, really. A campaign ad giving the idea that your daughters should lose their virginity to Barack Obama? Creepy! Add in that this is a rip-off of a Vladimir Putin campaign ad, and it’s a loser any way you slice it. Who was the brain trust who thought this ad was a winner? It reeks of desperation and it surely won’t endear Obama to the undecided voters he needs to reach.
