The Premise
What a controversial subject for a women’s blogging team to take on, right? I am begging you to watch this video all the way through before you read what I write or post a comment on any of the Victory Girls’ venues.
Behold:
There cannot be a sentient being on Planet Earth who hasn’t listened to Hillary Clinton, Barbara Boxer or Mika Brzezinski and thought “How did women ever get the vote?” or in more extreme moments that maybe public beatings aren’t that bad in concept.
If you made it all the way through that video, you know that Mika’s dad, Zbigniew Brzezinski, former National Security Adviser to former President Jimmy Carter, ignores her. Smart man.
But, what about the generalized concept of women as destroyers of Nations/Civilizations? Black Pigeon Speaks, the maker of this and other videos, posits the following:
1. Women, in general, do not care about their tribe or nation.
2. Women, in general, do not build or maintain society.
3. The half-century long experiment in feminism has failed.
The problem is that for most of the history of the world, most men did not participate in the planning and maintaining of society. Except in the brute force, sweat of the brow kind of way.
Philosopher Thomas Hobbes wrote in his Leviathan in 1651:
No arts; no letters; no society; and which is worst of all, continual fear, and danger of violent death: and the life of man, solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short.
Until very recent history, old Tom Hobbes was dead right. Most men didn’t get to have fun, they couldn’t read, smelled too bad to be let in to the homes of the nobility and lived in constant fear of death from war, pestilence or farm implement. Men died young and women died younger, mostly from things like childbed fever.
